सा.का.नि. 804(अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, भारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल अधिनियम, 1992 ( 1992 का 35 ) की धारा 156 की उप- धारा (2 ) के खखंड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल , साधारण ड्यूटी काडर ( समूह ' ख ' और ' ग' पद) मर्ती नियम, 2000 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारत तिब्बत सीधा पुलिस बल , साधारण ड्यूटी काडर ( समूह ' ख' और ' ग ' पद ) पर्ती ( संशोधन ) नियम, 2008 है ।
(2 ) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. मारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस बल , साधारण ड्यूटी काडर ( समूह ' ख' और ' ग ' पद ) भर्ती नियम, 2000 की अनुसूची में , उप निरीक्षक (साधारण ड्यूटी ) के पद से संबंधित क्रम सं. 2 के अधीन , स्तंभ 7 में विद्यमान प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-
" 20 से 25 वर्ष के बीच:
1. केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा समय- समय पर जारी किए गए अनुदेशों या आदेशों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जातियों/ अनुसूचित जनजातियों के अभ्यर्थियों की दशा में 5 वर्ष तक तथा अन्य पिछड़े वर्गों और अन्य विशेष प्रवर्ग के व्यक्तियों के लिए 3 वर्ष तक शिथिल की जा सकती है ।
2. विभागीय अभ्यर्थियों के लिए 5 वर्ष तक और इसके अतिरिक्त, अनुसूचित जातियों/ अनुसूचित जनजातियों के लिए 5 वर्ष तक तथा अन्य पिछड़े वर्गों के लिए 3 वर्ष तक आयु शिथिल की जा सकती है । "।

टिप्पण: मूल नियम सं. सा.का.नि. 741 (अ ) , तारीख 22 सितम्बर, 2000 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और तत्पश्चात् सं. सा.का.नि. 447(अ ) , तारीख 30 मई , 2003 , सं. सा.का.नि. 620 ( अ ) , तारीख 1 अगस्त, 2003 , सं. सा.का.नि. 137 ( अ) , तारीख 6 मार्च, 2006 और सं. सा.का.नि. 801 ( अ) , तारीख 31 दिसम्बर , 2007 द्वारा संशोधित की गई थी ।

New Delhi , the 20th November , 2008
G.S.R. 804 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b ) of sub - section (2) of Section 156 of the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992 (35 of 1992) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indo- Tibetan Border Police Force, General Duty Cadre (Group ' B ' and 'C ' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2000 , namely:- :
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Indo- Tibetan Border Police Force, General Duty Cadre (Group 'B ' and ' C' posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2008 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the schedule to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, General Duty Cadre ( Group ' B ' and ' C' posts) Recruitment Rules , 2000 against serial number 2, relating to the post of Sub-Inspector ( General Duty ), in column 7, for the existing entries , the following entries shall be substituted , namely:-
"Between 20 to 25 years :
1. Relaxable upto 5 years in the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates and 3 years for Other Backward Classes and other special categories of personnel in accordance with the orders issued by Central Government from time to time.
2. Relaxable upto 5 years for Departmental candidates and in addition 5 years age relaxation for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and 3 years for Other Backward Classes ." .
