का.आ. 2814(अ).-भारत सरकार, स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय के दिनांक 29 सितम्बर, 2008 की अधिसूचना सं. सा.का.नि. 693 (अ ) में भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण के भाग II , खंड 3 , उप- खंड ( i ) में प्रकाशित सिगरेट और अन्य तम्बाकू उत्पाद [पैकेजिंग और लेबलिंग ( संशोधन ) नियमावली , 2008 :
नियम 2 ( ii ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित को रखा जाएगा ,
नामतः :-
" उप-नियम ( च) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित को रखा जाएगा,
नामतः :-
(च ) विनिर्दिष्ट चेतावनियां डिब्बे पर लिखी भाषा/ भाषाओं में दीजाएंगी :
बशर्ते कि डिब्बे पर एक से अधिक भाषा/भाषाओं के प्रयोग किए जाने पर विनिर्दिष्ट चेतावनी दो भाषाओं में छपेगी-एक, जिसमें ब्रांड नाम छपा हो और और दूसरी कोई भी अन्य भाषा होगी जिसका प्रयोग डिब्बे पर किया गया हो । " ।

CORRIGENDUM
New Delhi , the 28th November , 2008
S.O. 2814(E) .-In the notification ofGovernment of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare No. G.S.R. 693 (E) dated 29th September, 2008 the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products [ Packaging and Labelling (Amendment) ] Rules, 2008 published in Part II, Section 3 , Sub -section (i) ofthe Gazette of India, Extraordinary :-
For rule 2( ii) the following shall be subsituted namely:-
"for sub - rule (f) , the following shall be substituted, namely:-
(f) the specified warnings shall be inscribed in the language/s used on the pack :
Provided that where more than one language/s isused on the pack the specified warning shall appear in two languages , one in which the brand name appears and the other in any other lan- guage used on the pack. " .
