वित्त मंत्रालय नई दिल्ली , 1 दिसम्बर , 2008 सं.47/2008- के.उ.शु. (गै.है. )
सा.का.नि. 826(अ) .केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियमावली , 2002 के नियम 3 के उप- नियम (2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क एवं सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड, एतद्वारा , भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II , खंड 3 , उप-खंड ( i ) में सा.का.नि. 182( अ) , दिनांक 8 मार्च , 2002 के जरिए प्रकाशित भारत सरकार , वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं. 14/2002- के.उ.शु. (गै .टै. ) में पुनः निम्नलिखित संशोधन करता है , अर्थात्:-
(i ) सारणी 1 में क्रम सं. 21 के सामने कॉलम (3 ) में " ( ii ) शिलांग " प्रविष्टि के बाद " ( iii ) गुवाहाटी " प्रविष्टि जोड़ी जाएगी;
( ii) सारणी IIमें,
(क) क्रम सं. 29 के बाद कॉलम ( 3 ) में वर्तमान प्रविष्टि की जगह " असम राज्य के लिए तिनसुकिया , डिब्रूगढ़ , सिबसागर , जोरहाट जिले तथा अरुणाचल प्रदेश के तिरप , छांगलांग , अनजाव , लोहित , लोवर डिबांग वैली , डिबांग वैली जिले तथा नागालैंड के मोकोकळुंग , लोंगलेंग , मोन , ट्वेनसांग जिले " प्रविष्टि प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी ।
(ख) क्रम सं. 32 के बाद निम्नलिखित क्रम सं. और प्रविष्टियां जोड़ी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-
" 32क गुवाहाटी असम और अरुणाचल प्रदेश राज्य के कामरूप , नालाबाड़ी, मोरेगाँव , बारपेटा , धुब्री, बोंगाईगांव , कोकराझार, गोलपाड़ा, सेनितपुर, डारंग , नार्थ लखीमपुर , धेमाजी जिले ( तिरप , छांगलांग , अनजोव , लोहित लोवर डिबांग वैली , डिबांग वैली जिले को छोड़कर ) तथा मेघालय राज्य के ईस्ट गैरो हिल्स, वेस्टगैरो हिल्स तथा साउथ गैरो हिल्स"
(ग) क्रम सं. 78 के सामने कॉलम ( 3 ) में वर्तमान प्रविष्टि की जगह " त्रिपुरा , मिजोरम , मणिपुर , नागालैंड ( मोकोकछंग , लोंगलेंग , मोन , ट्वेनसांग जिलों को छोड़कर ) तथा मेघालय ( ईस्ट वेस्ट और साउथ गैरो हिल्स जिलों को छोड़कर ) राज्य में तथा असम राज्य में नमांव , सिल्वर , करीमगंज , हैलाकांडी, नार्थ कछार हिल्स, कार्बी आंगलांग और गोलाघाट जिलों में " प्रविष्टिप्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी ।
( iii ) सारणी ( III ) में क्रम सं. 61 के सामने कॉलम ( 3 ) में " शिलांग " शब्द के बाद " गुवाहाटी " शब्द जोड़ा जाएगा ।

टिप्पण :-मूल अधिसूचना सं. 14/2002- के.उ.शु. ( गै.टै. ) , दिनांक 8 मार्च , 2002 भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II , खंड 3 , सं. उप-खंड ( i ) में सा.का. नि . 182 ( अ ) , दिनांक 8 मार्च, 2002 के जरिए प्रकाशित हुई थी और इसमें बाद में संशोधन अधिसूचना 22/2002- के.उ.शु. ( गै. टै ) के द्वारा सा.का.नि. 403 (अ ) , दिनांक 4 जून, 2002 के जरिए और भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग II , खंड 3 , उप - खंड ( i ) में, सा.का.नि. 721 ( अ ) , दिनांक6 अक्तूबर , 2008 के जरिए प्रकाशित अधिसूचना सं. 44/2008 -के. उ.शु. (गै. टै) , दिनांक 6 अक्तूबर , 2008 के द्वारा किया गया था ।

No. 47/2008-Central Excise (N.T. )
G.S.R. 826(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (2) ofrule 3 of the Central Excise Rules , 2002, the Central Board ofExcise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government ofIndia in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue ) number 14/2002 -Central Excise (N.T. ) , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary , Part II, Section 3 , Sub- section (i ) , vide number G.S.R. 182 (E) , dated the 8th March, 2002 , namely:---
In the said notification,
(1) in Table I , agianst serial number 21 , in column (3 ) , after the entry " ( ii) Shillong" the entry " (iii ) Guwahati " shall be inserted;
(ii) in Table II ,
(a) against serial number 29 , in column (3 ), for the existing entry, "Districts of Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Sibsagar, Jorhat of the State of Assam and the districts of Tirap, Changlang, Anjaw, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valley of the State of Arunachal Pradesh and the Districts of Mokokchung, Longleng, Mon , Tuensang of the State of Nagaland " shall be substituted;
(b) after serial number 32 , the following serial number and the entries shall be inserted, namely:---
"32.A Guwahati Districts of Kamrup , Nalbari , Morigao f5/ n , Barpeta, Dhubri , Bongaigaon , Kokrajhar, Goalpara, Sonitpur , Darrang, North Lakhimpur , Dhemaji ofthe State ofAssam and Arunachal Pradesh (except the Districts of Tirap , Changlang, Anjaw, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, Dibang Valley) and the Districts ofEast Garo Hills , West Garo Hills and South Garo Hills of the State of Meghalaya . "
(c) against serial number 78, in column (3 ) for the existing entry, " In the State of Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur , Nagaland ( except the Districts of Mokokchung, Longleng, Mon , Tuensang) and Meghalaya (except the Districts of East, West and South Garo Hills) and the Districts of Nagaon, Silchar, Karimganj , Hailakandi , North Cachar Hills , Karbi Anglong and Golaghat in the State of Assam " shall be substituted;
(iii) inTable III , against serial number 61 , in column ( 3 ) , after the words " Shillong " , the word " Guwahati " shall be inserted.

Note: The principal notification No. 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T. ) dated the 8th March, 2002 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub- section ( i) vide No. G.S.R. 182 (E) , dated the 8th March, 2002, and the same was subsequently amended by notification No. 22/2002 -Central Excise (N.T. ) vide NumberG.S.R. 403(E), dated the 4th June , 2002 and vide notification No. 44/2008 -Central Excise (N.T.) , dated the 6th October , 2008 , which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub-section (i ) , vide number G.S.R. 721 (E) , dated the 6th October, 2008 .
