In the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs , Food andPublicDistribution (Department of Consumer Affairs), published in the Gazette of India , Part II , Section 3 , Sub-section (i) , dated the 23rd August, 2008 , vide number G.S.R. 157, dated the 20th August, 2008 pages 773-776, in the Schedule at page 776, for serial number 2 relating to the post ofAssistant Director (Legal Metrology), in column (12), under the heading "Promotion" , in lines 2 and 3, for " five years", read" eight years" .
