सं. 1/55/2000-डीसीएच/समन्वय/एआईएचबी.-भारत सरकार के संकल्प सं. 1/55 /2000 -डीसीएच/समन्वय/ एआईएचबी दिनांक 30 जुलाई , 2008 , 27 अगस्त, 2008 , 2 सितम्बर , 2008 , 11 सितम्बर, 2008 , 16 सितम्बर , 2008 , 23 सितम्बर , 2008 , 21 अक्तूबर, 2008 , 4. नवम्बर , 2008 , 26 नवम्बर , 2008 और 1 दिसम्बर, 2008 में आंशिक संशोधन करते हुए एडवोकेट राजेन्द्र बाबूराव उमप क्र.सं. 49/2 , पाथेर काम्पलेक्स , चंदन नगर, खराडी, पूणे -14 , गैर सरकारी सदस्य को अखिल भारतीय हथकरधा बोर्ड में उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में तत्काल प्रभाव से नियुक्त किया गया है ।
बोर्ड के उपर्युक्त उपाध्यक्ष हथकरघा क्षेत्र के लिए समग्र विकास कार्यक्रम बनाने में सरकार को सलाह देंगे । उपर्युक्त उपाध्यक्ष की पदावधि बोर्ड की समयावधि के समवर्ती अर्थात् 30 जुलाई , 2008 से दो वर्ष की होगी ।
यह बोर्ड हथकरघा क्षेत्र के समाज आर्थिक , सांस्कृतिक और कलात्मक स्वरूप को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास कार्यक्रम तैयार करने में सरकार को सलाह देगा । यह बोर्ड विशेष रूप से निम्नलिखित उद्देश्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए सलाह देगा :-
(i ) देश की कपड़े की आवश्यकता को अधिकाधिक हथकरघा क्षेत्र से पूरा करना;
(ii ) बुनकरों में बेरोजगार और अल्परोजगार को कम करने और उनके रहन - सहन के स्तर में सुधार लाने के लिए हथकरघा क्षेत्र को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाना;
(iii) हथकरघा की शिल्प परम्परा को बनाए रखना और इसमें अधिक सुधार करना;
(iv ) देश और विदेशों में हथकरघा वस्त्रों के विपणन में वृद्धि करने के लिए कार्य योजना बनाना;

(v) इस क्षेत्र के लिए विभिन्न राज्य सरकारों , केन्द्र शासित क्षेत्रों के विकासात्मक प्रयत्नों में समन्वय स्थापित करने के लिए कदम उठाना;
(iv) समय- समय पर इस उद्योग के विकास में हुई प्रगति की समीक्षा करना;
इसे माननीय वस्त्र मंत्री के अनुमोदन से जारी किया जाता है।

RESOLUTION
New Delhi , the 1st December, 2008
No. 1/55/2000- DCH/Coordn/AIHB .-In partial modification of Government of India's Resolution No. 1/ 55/2000-DCH /Coordn/ AIHB dated 30th July, 2008, 27thAugust, 2008, 2nd September , 2008 , 11th September , 2008, 16th September , 2008 , 23rd September , 2008 , 21st October, 2008 , 4th November, 2008 , 26th November , 2008 and 1st December , 2008 , Adv . Rajendra Baburao Umap, Sr. No.49/2, Pathare Complex , Chandannagar , Kharadi , Pune- 14, aNonOfficial Member in the All India Handloom Board has been appointed as Vice - Chairman in the All India Handloom Board with immediate effect :
The above newly appointed Vice-chairman of the Board would advise the Government in the formulation of overall development programme in the Handloom Sector . the term of Office of the above Vice- chairman will be concurrent with the term of the Board i.e. a period of two years from 30th July, 2008 .
The Board will advise the Government in the formulation ofthe overall development programme in the handloom sector keeping in view socio -economic cultural and artistic perspective . In particular, the board will advise theGovernment regarding achievement of the following objectives:-

(i) to meet the clothing needs of the country progressively from the handloom sector ;
(v ) इस क्षेत्र के लिए विभिन्न राज्य सरकारों, केन्द्र शासित क्षेत्रों के विकासात्मक प्रयत्नों में समन्वय स्थापित करने के लिए कदम उठाना;
(ii) to make handlooms an effective instrument of reducing unemployment and under employment and achieving higher standard of living for weavers;
(iv ) समय- समय पर इस उद्योग के विकास में हुई प्रगति की समीक्षा करना;
(iii) to preserve and further promote the craft heritage of our handlooms .
इसे माननीय वस्त्र मंत्री के अनुमोदन से जारी किया जाता है ।

बोर्ड के उपर्युक्त सदस्य हथकरघा क्षेत्र के लिए समग्र विकास कार्यक्रम बनाने में सरकार को सलाह देंगे। उपर्युक्त सदस्य की पदावधि बोर्ड की समयावधि के समवर्ती अर्थात् 30 जुलाई , 2008 से दो वर्ष की होगी।

यह बोर्ड हथकरघा क्षेत्र के समाज आर्थिक , सांस्कृतिक और कलात्मक स्वरूप को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास कार्यक्रम तैयार करने में सरकार को सलाह देगा। यह बोर्ड विशेष रूप से निम्नलिखित उद्देश्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए सलाह देगा :-
