सं. 5-1/2005-एल.आई. डाकघर बीमा निधि नियमावली के नियम 10 के जरिए प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और 31-3-2005 की स्थिति के अनुसार ग्रामीण डाकघर जीवन बीमा निधि की परिसम्पत्ति और देयताओं के बीमांकक मूल्यांकन के आधार पर डाक महानिदेशक, ग्रामीण डाक जीवन बीमा पालिसियों के मृत्यु या परिपक्वता की वजह से दावे बनने पर निम्नलिखित दरों पर साधारण प्रत्यावर्ती बोनस की घोषणा करते हैं:-
बीमा पालिसी का प्रकार
बोनस की दर
(i ) आजीवन बीमा
प्रति हजार बीमित राशि पर 60/-रु.
( ii) बंदोबस्ती बीमा
प्रति हजार बीमित राशि पर 55/-रु.
(iii ) प्रत्याशित बंदोबस्ती बीमा
प्रति हजार बीमित राशि पर 50/-रु.
2. वर्ष 2004-2005 के लिए बोनस की दरें सर्किलों द्वारा इस अधिसूचना के प्राप्त होने की तिथि से लागू होंगी और ये ऐसे दावा मामलों पर भी लागू होंगी जो इस अधिसूचना के प्राप्त होने की तिथि तक प्राप्त तो हुए हों, लेकिन निपटाए न गए हों ।
3. भावी मूल्यांकन होने तक परिपक्वता या मृत्यु की वजह से उत्पन्न सभी दावों के लिए ऊपर उल्लिखित दरों पर भी अंतरिम बोनस लागू होगा ।
4. बोनस की वह धनराशि अगले उच्चतर रुपए में पूर्णांकित कर दी जाएगी जिसमें 50 पैसे या अधिक का अंश निहित हो और 50 पैसे से कम के अंश को हिसाब में नहीं लिया जाएगा ।

No. 5-1/2005-LI.-In exercise of powers conferred vide Rule 10 of Post Office Insurance Fund (POIF) Rules and on the basis of Actuarial Valuation of the asset and liabilities of Rural Post Office Life Insurance Fund as on 31-3-2005 , the Director General (Posts) is pleased to declare a simple Reversionary Bonus on the Rural Postal Life Insurance Policies on their becoming claims , due to death or maturity at the following rates :-
Rate of Bonus
Type of Insurance Policy
Rs. 60/- per thousand of Sum Assured.
(i) Whole Life Assurance (WLA)
Rs.55 /- per thousand of Sum Assured.
(ii) Endowment Assurance (EA )
Rs. 50/- per thousand of Sum Assured .
(iii) Anticipated Endowment Assurance (AEA)
2. The rates of Bonus for the year 2004-2005 will be applicable from the date of receipt of this Notification by the Circles and this will also be applicable to claim cases received but not settled till the date of receipt ofthis Notification .
3.InterimBonus at the rates mentioned above will also be payable for all claims arising due to maturity or death until future valuation is completed .
4. The amount of Bonus involving a fraction of 50 paisa or more shall be rounded off to the next higher Rupee and fraction below 50 paisa shall be ignored.
