का.आ. 2901 (अ) .केंद्रीय सरकार , उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम , 1986 ( 1986 का 68 ) की धारा 20 की उप - धारा ( 3 ) के साथ पठित उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खण्ड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए चयन समिति की सिफारिश पर पटना उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश ( सेवानिवृत्त ) न्यायमूर्ति श्री बृजनंदन प्रसाद सिंह को 5 दिसम्बर , 2008 के पूर्वाहन से पांच वर्ष की अवधि के लिए अथवा उनके 70 वर्ष की आयु को प्राप्त हो जाने तक, जो भी पहले हो , समय-समय पर यथा- संशोधित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण नियम , 1987 के साथ पठित उपभोक्ता संरक्षण अधिनियम , 1986 में निर्धारित निबंधनों और शर्तों पर राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता विवाद प्रतितोष आयोग के पूर्णकालिक सदस्य के पद पर नियुक्त करती है ।

New Delhi, the 15th December, 2008
S.O. 2901 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub -section ( 1 ) read with sub- section (3) of Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (68 of 1986) , the Central Government , on the recommendation of the Selection Committee , hereby appoints Mr. Justice Braj Nandan Prasad Singh , Judge (Retd.) , Patna High Court, as whole-time Member of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with effectfrom the forenoon ofthe 5th day of December, 2008 , for a period of five years, or until he attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier, on the terms and conditions prescribed in the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 read with the ConsumerProtection Rules , 1987 as amended from time totime.
