का.आ. 2902(अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 48 ) की धारा 3 के खण्ड ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 1016 ( अ ) , तारीख 19 सितम्बर , 2002 में उन संबंधित बातों के सिवाय अधिक्रमण करते हुए जिन्हें ऐसे अधिक्रमण से पूर्व कर लिया गया है अथवा करने से लोप कर दिया गया है , उड़ीसा राज्य में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 5 के 319.632 कि.मी. से 388.000 कि.मी. तक के भूखण्ड के संबंध में बाईपास के निर्माण सहित विद्यमान राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग का निर्माण ( चौड़ा करने /चार लेन का बनाने आदि ) , अनुरक्षण , प्रबंध और प्रचालन के लिए इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से उप कलक्टर , खुर्दा को उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन ऐसे सक्षम प्राधिकारी के कृत्यों का पालन करने के लिए सक्षम प्राधिकारी प्राधिकृत करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 16th December , 2008
S.O. 2902(E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Road Transport and Highways , number SO 1016 (E) , dated the 19th September , 2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorizes the Deputy Collector , Khurda , as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette , in respect of the stretch of land from Km . 319.632 to Km. 388.000 of the National Highway No.5 for building (widening/ four - laning, etc. ) , maintenance management and operation of the existing national highway , including construction of bypass , in the State of Orissa , as specified in the Schedule given below.
