का.नि.आ. 32(अ). केन्द्रीय सरकार, छावनी अधिनियम, 2006 (2006 का 41 ) की धारा 15 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, 15 फरवरी , 2009 को ऐसी तारीख के रूप में निदेशित करती है जिसको लखनऊ छावनी बोर्ड के वार्ड Vकी बाबत निर्वाचन होंगे ।
इस बात पर संतुष्ट होने पर कि निम्नलिखित छावनियों के प्रशासन के लिए इन छावनी बोडों के गठन में फेरफार करना वांछनीय है, केन्द्रीय सरकार, छावनी अधिनियम, 2006 (2006 का 41 ) की धारा 13 की उप- धारा (4 ) और उप - धारा ( 1 ) के. खण्ड ( ख ) के तहत एतद्वारा इस संबंध में यह घोषणा करती है और निदेश देती है कि इन बोडों का कार्यकाल आगामी दिनांक 31-3-2009 तक अथवा छावनी अधिनियम, 2006 की धारा 12 के तहत इन बोडों का गठन होने तक , इनमें से जो भी पहले हो , बढ़ाया जाए:

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 15 of the Cantonments Act, 2006 (41 of2006), the Central Government hereby directs the 15th February, 2009 as the date on which election to the Cantonment Board , Lucknow in respect of Ward number V shall be held.

In pursuance of sub -section (3 ) of Section 13 ofthe Cantonments Act, 2006 (41 of2006) read with the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence S.R.O. 13 (E) dated 11-6-2008 and S.R.O. 33 (E) dated 18th December , 2008 , the term of nomination ofmember of the Cantonment Board specified incolumn (2) ofthe Table given below indicated in column (3)thereofis extended for a further period up to 31st March , 2009 or till the constitution of the Board under Section 12 ofthe said Act, whichever is earlier .
