सा.का.नि. 865(अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार , बाट और माप मानक अधिनियम , 1976 (1976 का 60 ) की धारा 83 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , बाट और माप मानक (पैकेज में रखी वस्तुएं) नियम, 1977 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-

1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम बाट और माप मानक ( पैकेज में रखी वस्तुएं ) दूसरा संशोधन नियम, 2008 है ।

kufweights "स्पष्टीकरण.-विनिर्माता के परिसर के भीतर फुटकर विक्रय कीमत की घोषणा के बिना पैकेज के अस्तित्व को इन नियमों का अतिक्रमण नहीं समझा जाएगा । तथापि , यह सुनिश्चित किया जाना चाहिए किविनिर्माता के परिसर , अपने गंतव्य को जाने वाली सभी पैकेजों पर इस नियम में यथा अपेक्षित उन पर फुटकर विक्रय कीमत की घोषणा होगी । "

1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Standards of Weights and Measures (Packaged Commodities) Second Amendment Rules , 2008.

"Explanation . The existence ofpackages without the declaration of retail sale price within the manufacturer's premises would not be construed as a violation of these rules. It should, however, be ensured that all packages leaving the premises ofmanufacturer for their destination shall have declaration of retail sale price on them as required in this rule."
