का.आ. 2944(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार ने , भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण अधिनियम , 1988 ( 1988 का 68 ) की धारा 11 के अधीन जारी की गई , भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन जल भूतल परिवहन मंत्रालय ( सडक खंड ) की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 465 (अ ) , तारीख 26 अप्रैल, 2002, द्वारा राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या 28 के 0.000 कि.मी. से 365.570 कि.मी. तक के भूखंड ( लखनऊ से फैजाबाद से गोरखपुर से उत्तर प्रदेश/बिहार सीमा खंड ) को भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण को सौंपा था;
अतः, अब , केन्द्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग ( राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सेक्शन और स्थायी पुल- लोक वित्तपोषित परियोजना के उपयोग के लिए फीस) नियम, 1997 के नियम 3 , नियम 5 और नियम 11 और राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग ( फीस की दर ) नियम, 1997 के नियम 3 के उप- नियम ( 1 ) के साथ पठित राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 48 ) की धारा 7 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह अधिसूचित करती है कि उत्तर प्रदेश राज्यमें राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या 28 के 260.987 कि. मी. से 262.529 कि. मी. ( लखनऊ-गोरखपुर खंड) तक के राप्ती नदी पर स्थायी पुल के उपयोग के लिए याँत्रिक यानों पर फीस, शाश्वत आधार पर भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण द्वारा विभागीय तौर पर या प्राइवेट ठेकेदार के माध्यम से, जो प्रतिस्पर्द्धात्मक निविदा के आधार पर नियुक्त किए जा सकेंगे , इससे संलग्न अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट दरों पर उद्ग्रहीत और संग्रहीत की जाएगी ।

उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या 28 के 260.987 कि. मी. से 262.529 कि. मी. (लखनऊ- गोरखपुर खंड) तक के राप्ती पुल के उपयोक्ताओं से वसूल की जाने वाली फीस की दरें ।
फीस भूखंड के भीतर केवल एक स्थान पर ही संग्रहीत की जाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi , the 18th December , 2008
S.O. 2944(E) . Whereas , vide notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Surface Transport (Roads Wing ), number S.O. 465 (E) , dated the 26th April, 2002 , issued under Section 11 ofthe National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988 ) , the Central Government entrusted the stretch from Km 0.000 to Km 365.570 (Lucknow to Faizabad to Gorakhpur to Uttar Pradesh/Bihar Border Section) ofNational Highway No. 28 in the State of Uttar Pradesh to the National Highways Authority of India;
Now, therefore, in exercise ofthe powers conferred by Section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), read with rules 3 , 5 and 11 of the National Highways (Fees for the Use of National Highways Section and Permanent Bridge- Public Funded Project) Rules , 1997, sub- rule ( 1 ) of rule 3 of the National Highways (Rate of Fee) Rules , 1997 , the Central Government hereby notifies that there shall be levied and collected in perpetuity by the National Highways Authority of India Departmentally or through private contractor who may be appointed on the basis of competitive bidding, a fee on mechanical vehicles for the use of the permanent Bridge on River Rapti at Km 260.987 to Km 262.529 ( Lucknow - Gorakhpur Section) ofNational Highway No. 28 in the State of Uttar Pradesh at the rates specified in the Schedule annexed hereto.
SCHEDULE
Ratesof fee to be Recovered from the Users of Rapti Bridge on River Rapti at Km 260.987 to Km 262.529 ( Lucknow- Gorakhpur Section ) of National Highway No. 28 in the State of Uttar Pradesh .
The fee shallbe collected at single location only within the stretch .
