का.आ. 2951(अ) .-राष्ट्रपति द्वारा किया गया निम्नलिखित आदेश सर्वसाधारण की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशित किया जाता है :-
"आदेश
24 राज्यों/संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों के संबंध में परिसीमन कार्य पूरा होने पर, त्रिपुरा और मेघालय राज्यों को छोड़कर जहां परिसीमन आदेशों को 20 मार्च, 2008 से प्रभावी किया गया था , सभी 22 राज्यों/ संघ राज्यक्षेत्रों में परिसीमन आदेशों को 19 फरवरी , 2008 से प्रभावी करते हुए , भारत सरकार के विधि और न्याय मंत्रालय ( विधायी विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 382( अ ) , तारीख 19 फरवरी , 2008 द्वारा तारीख 19 फरवरी , 2008 को एक राष्ट्रपतीय आदेश जारी किया गया था ;
और, उक्त राष्ट्रपतीय आदेश के पश्चात्, परिसीमन आयोग ने 25 फरवरी , 2008 को एक शुद्धिपत्र आदेश सं. 11 ( अ ) और 26 मार्च , 2008 को आदेश सं. 56 जारी किए हैं , जिनमें कर्नाटक राज्य के संबंध में उसके अंतिम आदेश को संशोधित किया गया है ;
और, परिसीमन आयोग ने पुनः भिन्न- भिन्न तारीखों को पश्चिमी बंगाल , उत्तर प्रदेश , तमिलनाडु राज्यों और दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय राजधानी राज्यक्षेत्र के संबंध में चार संशोधन आदेश तथा गुजरात और बिहार राज्यों के संबंध में, उन राज्यों से संबंधित उसके अंतिम आदेशों का संशोधन करते हुए , दो शुद्धिपत्र जारी किए हैं ;
और, विधायी विभाग ने1-6-2008 से परिसीमन आयोग की समाप्ति को अधिसूचित करते हुए, तारीख 23 मई , 2008 को एक अधिसूचना जारी कीहै ;
और, लोकहित में यह समीचीन है कि उस तारीख को विनिर्दिष्ट किया जाए, जिसको परिसीमन आयोग के पश्चात्वर्ती आदेशों द्वारा यथा उपांतरित पुनः समायोजन पूर्वोक्त सात राज्यों के संबंध में प्रभावी होंगे ;
अतः , अब, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 82 के दूसरे परंतुक और अनुच्छेद 170 के खण्ड (3 ) के दूसरे परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , मैं, प्रतिभा देवीसिंह पाटील , भारत की राष्ट्रपति , अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 382 ( अ) तारीख 19 फरवरी , 2008 द्वारा प्रकाशित आदेश का निम्नानुसार संशोधन करती हूं:-
उक्त आदेश की सारणी में:-
(क ) पश्चिमी बंगाल राज्य से संबंधित क्रम सं. 6 के सामने स्तंभ 5 में निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्:- " आदेश सं. 57 आ.अ. 27(अ ) तारीख 22 फरवरी , 2008 ! " ;
(ख ) दिल्ली से संबंधित क्रम सं. 11 के सामने स्तंभ 5 में निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्:- " आदेश सं. 60 आ.अ. 62(अ) तारीख 30 मई, 2008।" ;
( ग ) गुजरात राज्य से संबंधित क्रम सं. 12 के सामने स्तंभ 5 में निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-- " शुद्धिपत्र आ.अ. 59 ( अ ) तारीख 29 मई, 2008।" ;

( घ ) उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य से संबंधित क्रम सं. 14 के सामने स्तंभ 5 में विद्यमान प्रविष्टियों के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित प्रतिष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्: -
" आदेश सं. 58 आ.अ. 31 ( अ) तारीख 4 अप्रैल , 2008। " ;
(ङ ) कर्नाटक राज्य से संबंधित क्रम सं. 20 के सामने स्तंभ 5 में निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्: - " आदेश सं. 56 आ.अ. 26( अ) तारीख 26 मार्च , 2008। " ;
" शुद्धिपत्र आ. अ. 11 ( अ ) तारीख 25 फरवरी , 2008। " ;
(च ) तमिलनाडु राज्य से संबंधित क्रम सं. 21 के सामने स्तंभ 5 में निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां अतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-
" आदेश सं. 59 आ.अ. 60( अ) तारीख 27 मई , 2008। " ;
( छ ) बिहार राज्य से संबंधित क्रम सं. 22 के सामने स्तंभ 5 में निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-
" शुद्धिपत्र आ. अ. 61 (अ ) तारीख 30 मई , 2008 1 "।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 22nd December , 2008
S.O. 2951 (E) .-The following Order made by the President is published for general information :--
"ORDER
Whereas, on the completion of the Delimitation work in respect of 24 States /Union Territories, a Presidential Order dated 19th February , 2008 was issed making the delimitation Orders effective from 19th February, 2008 in all the 22 States/ Union Territories, except in the States of Tripura and Meghalaya where the delimitation Orders were made effective from the 20thMarch , 2008 vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Law and Justice (Legislative Department) number S.O. 382(E) , dated 19th February, 2008 ;
And , whereas , subsequent to the said Presidential Order, the Delimitation Commission has issued a corrigendum O.N. 11 (E), on 25th February, 2008 and Order No. 56 dated 26th March, 2008 , amending its final Order in respect of the State ofKarnataka;
And, whereas , the Delimitation Commission has again issued , on different dates , four amendment Orders in respect ofthe States of West Bengal, Uttar Predesh , Tamil Nadu and National Capital Territory of Delhi , and two corrigenda in respect of the States of Gujarat and Bihar , amending its final orders in respect of those States ;
And, whereas , the Legislative Department has issued a notification dated 23rd May, 2008 notifying the cesser of the Delimitation Commission w.e.f. 1-6-2008 ;
And, whereas, it is expedient in the public interest to specify the date on which the readjustments as modified by the subsequent orders of the Delimitation Commission shall come into effect in respect of the aforesaid seven States ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Second proviso to Article 82 and the second proviso to clause (3) of article 170 of the Constitution , I, Pratibha Devisingh Patil , President of India, hereby amend the Order published vide notification number S.O. 382 (E) dated 19th February, 2008 , as under :-
In the TABLE to the said Order :-
(a) against Sl . No. 6 relatingto the State of West Bengal, in column 5 , the following entries shall be inserted , namely:-
"ORDER No. 57 O.N. 27(E) dated 22nd February, 2008. " ;
(b) against Sl . No. 11 relating to Delhi , in column 5, the following entries shall be inserted, namely:---- "ORDER NO . 60 O.N. 62(E), dated 30th May, 2008." ;

(c) against Sl . No. 12 relating to the State ofGujarat , in column 5, the following entries shall be inserted, namely:-
"CORRIGENDUM O.N. 59(E), dated 29th May, 2008." ;
(d) against Sl . No. 14 relating to the State of Uttar Pradesh, in column 5, after the existing entries, following entries shall be inserted, namely :-
"ORDER No. 58 O.N. 31 (E), dated 4th April , 2008. " ;
(e) against Sl . No. 20 relating to the State of Karnataka, in column 5, the following entries shall be inserted, namely:-
"ORDER No. 56 O.N. 26 (E) , dated 26th March, 2008." ;
CORRIGENDUM O.N. 11 (E), dated 25th February , 2008. ";
(f) against Sl . No. 21 relating to the State of Tamil Nadu, in column 5, the following entries shall be inserted, namely:-
"ORDER No. 59 O.N. 60 (E) , dated 27th May, 2008. " ;
(g) against Sl . No. 22 relating to the State ofBihar , in column 5, the following entries shall be inserted, namely :----
"CORRIGENDUM O.N. 61 (E), dated 30th May, 2008." .
