का.आ. 2960(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार, संतुष्ट हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना अपेक्षित था , औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम , 1947 ( 1947 का 14 ) की धारा 2 के खण्ड ( ढ ) के उप - खण्ड ( vi ) के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना दिनांक 24-6-2008 द्वारा कोयला उद्योग जोकिऔद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम , 1947 ( 1947 का 14 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची की प्रविष्टि 4 में शामिल है , को उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए दिनांक 28-6-2008 से छः मास की कालावधि के लिए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोषित किया था;
S.O. 2960 (E ).-Whereas the Central Government having been satisfied that the public interest so requires that in pursuance of the provisions of sub -clause (vi ) of the clause (n) of Section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 ( 14 of 1947 ) , declaredby the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour dated 24-6-2008 the service in the Coal Industry which is covered by item 4 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) to be a Public Utility Service for the purpose ofthe said Act, for a period of six months from the 28thJune, 2008.
और केन्द्रीय सरकार की राय है कि लोकहित में उक्त कालावधि को छः मास की ओर कालावधि के लिए बढ़ाया जाना अपेक्षित है;
Andwhereas, the Central Government is of opinion thatpublic interest requires the extension ofthe said period by a further period of six months .
अतः , अब , औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम, 1947 ( 1947 का 14 ) की धारा 2 के खण्ड ( ढ ) के उप - खण्ड ( vi ) के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त उद्योग को उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए दिनांक 28-12-2008 से छः मास की कालावधि के लिए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोषित करती है ।
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred bythe proviso to sub-clause (vi ) of clause (n) of Section 2 ofthe IndustrialDisputes Act, 1947, the Central Government hereby declares the said industry to be a Public Utility Service for the purposes ofthe said Act , for a period of six months from the 28th December, 2008 .
