का.आ. 2970(अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार, कोयला धारक क्षेत्र ( अर्जन और विकास ) अधिनियम , 1957 (1957 का 20) ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) की धारा 4 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के अधीन जारी भारत सरकार के कोयला मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 12 , तारीख 29 दिसम्बर , जो भारत के राजपत्र , साप्ताहिक , भाग II , खंड 3 उप- खंड ( ii ) तारीख 31 दिसम्बर , 2006 से 06 जनवरी , 2007 में प्रकाशित की गई थी, द्वारा उससे संलग्न अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट परिक्षेत्र की भूमि में 230.166 हेक्टर ( लगभग ) या 5708.42 एकड़ (लगभग ) माप वाली भूमि में कोयले का पूर्वेक्षण करने के अपने आशय की सूचना दी थी;
और केंद्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया है कि उक्त अधिसूचना के माध्यम से धारा 4 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के अधीन अधिसूचित सम्पूर्ण भूमि में कोयला अभिप्राप्य है;
और उक्त भूमि की बाबत उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 7 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के अधीन कोई सूचना नहीं दीगई;
अतः अब , केंद्रीय सरकार, कोयला धारक क्षेत्र ( अर्जन और विकास ) अधिनियम , 1957 ( 1957 का 20 ) की धारा 7 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए 29 दिसम्बर , 2008 से आरंभ होने वाली एक वर्ष की और अवधि को, ऐसी अवधि को विनिर्दिष्ट करती है जिसके भीतर केंद्रीय सरकार नीचे अनुसूची में यथानिर्दिष्ट उक्त भूमि को या ऐसी भूमि में अथवा उस पर के किसी अधिकार का अर्जन करने के अपने आशय की सूचना दे सकेगी।

सीमा वर्णनः
क-ख रेखा कुरकेट नदी की ओर ग्राम बरोद की सम्मिलित सीमा पर " क'
ग-घ बिंदु से आरंभ होती है ओर ग्राम करौद, पोरडी की उत्तरी सीमा के साथ होते हुए जाती है उसके पश्चात आरक्षित वन से गुजरती हुई 'घ ' बिंदु पर मिलती है ।
घ -ड च . रेखा ग्राम काटांझरिया, कठरापाली से होते हुए जाती है और 'च ' बिंदु पर मिलती है ।
च-छ रेखा ग्राम कठरापाली , पोरडा की दक्षिणी सीमा से होते हुए जाती है तब भागतः ग्राम पोरडा की पश्चिम सीमा से होते हुए जाती है तथा 'छ' बिंदु पर मिलती है ।
छ-ज-झ रेखा, ग्राम पोरडा, बिजारी , कुर्मीभावना से , बाद में भागतः ग्राम कुर्मीभावना की पश्चिमी सीमा से गुजरती हुई 'झ ' बिदु पर मिलती है ।
झ-अ-क
रेखा ग्राम बरौद से, बाद में कुरकेट नदी की पूर्वी सीमा से गुजरती हुई आरंभिक 'क 'बिंदु पर मिलती है ।

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi , the 24th December, 2008
S.O. 2970(E).- Whereas by the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Coal , number S.O. 12 dated the 29th day of December, 2006, issued under sub - section (1 ) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published in the Gazette of India, Weekly, Part -II, section 3 , sub- section (ii) dated the 31 day of December, 2006 to 6th day of January, 2007, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to prospect for coal in lands measuring 2310.166 hectares (approximately) or 5708.42 acres (approximately ) in the locality specified in the Schedule appended thereto;
And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that coal is obtainable in the whole of the land notified under sub -section ( 1 ) ofsection 4 through the said notification;
And whereas , in respect of the said lands , no notice under sub -section ( 1 ) of section 7 of. the said Act, has been given;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section ( 1 ) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby specifies a further period of one year commencing from the 29th December, 2008, as the period within which the Central Government may give notice of its intention to acquire the said lands , as specified in the Schedule below, or any rights in or over such lands .

A-B -C-D Line starts from point ' A' on the common boundary ofKurket river and village Baroud and passes along the northern boundary of village Baroud , Pordi then through reserved forest and meets at point ' D ' ;
D-E -F Line passes through village Kantajharia, Katharrapali and meets at point ' F' ;

Line passes along the southern boundary of village Katharrapali , Porda, then partly western boundary of village Porda and meets at point 'G' ;
