का. आ. 2981 ( अ ) जीव जन्तु क्रूरता निवारण अधिनियम, 1960 ( 1960 का 59 ) की धारा 5( क) के उप- खण्ड ( 1 ) के साथ पठित उप-खण्ड ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 2005( अ ) , दिनांक 29 नवम्बर, 2007 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1 ) and (2) ofSection 5(A) ofPrevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (59 of 1960), the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendment in thenotificationof the Government of India in the Ministry ofEnvironment and Forests Number S.O. 2005( E) dated 29thNovember, 2007, namely:-
2. केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 5 की उप- धारा 3 के अनुसार एतद्वारा डॉ. वी. एन. अप्पाजी राव , के स्थान पर, श्री दौलत जैन , सदस्य को जीव - जन्तु कल्याण बोर्ड का उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में मनोनीत करती है ।
2. The Central Government hereby nominates Sh. Doulat Jain, Member to be the Vice Chairman ofthe Animal Welfare Board of India as per Sub- section (3 ) of Section 5 of the aforesaid Act, in place of Dr. V. N. Appaji Rao .
