नई दिल्ली 29 दिसम्बर , 2008 सं. 140/2008-सीमा शुल्क ( गै.टै. )
का.आ. 2985( अ ).- सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 14 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की संख्या का.आ. 2734 ( अ) , दिनांक 25 नवम्बर, 2008 के जरिए जारी अधिसूचना सं. 130/2008 -सीमा शुल्क ( गै. टै. ) , दिनांक 25 नवम्बर, 2008 को अधिक्रांत करते हुए, ऐसे प्रतिस्थापन से पूर्व की गई अथवा किए जाने से लोप की गई बातों को छोड़कर , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क एवं सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड, एतद्वारा , निर्धारित करता है कि इसके साथ संलग्न अनुसूची -1 और अनुसूची- II में से प्रत्येक के कॉलम (2 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट प्रत्येक विदेशी मुद्रा के भारतीय मुद्रा में सम्परिवर्तन और भारतीय मुद्रा के विदेशी मुद्रा में सम्परिवर्तन की विनिमय दर 1 जनवरी , 2009 से वह दर होगी जो आयातित माल और निर्यात माल के संबंध में उक्त धारा के उद्देश्य के लिए उसके कॉलम ( 3 ) में सामने दी गई प्रविष्टि में उल्लिखित है ।

New Delhi , the 29th December, 2008
No. 140/2008 - CUSTOMS (N.Τ.)
S.O. 2985(E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Customs Act , 1962 (52 of 1962 ), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) , No. 130/2008-Customs (N.T. ) , dated the 25th November , 2008 vide number S.O. 2734 (E) , dated the 25th November , 2008 , except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby determines that the rate of exchange of conversion of each of the foreign currency specified in column (2) of each ofSchedule I and Schedule II annexed hereto into Indian currency or vice versa shall , with effect from 1st January, 2009 be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry in column (3 ) thereof, for the purpose of the said section relating to imported and export goods .
