फा. सं. 01 / 36/218/ 56 /एएम 09 /नीति-5/ईपीसीजी 1. विदेश व्यापार नीति, 2004-2009 के पैराग्राफ 2.4 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, महानिदेशक विदेश व्यापार , एतद्वारा प्रक्रिया पुस्तक, खण्ड-1 , ( आर ई-2008 ) में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करते हैं :-
2. प्रथम दो वर्षों के लिए निर्यात दायित्व में वृद्धि प्रदान करने से संबंधित पैराग्राफ 5.11 में दिए गए प्रावधानों को निम्नानुसार संशोधित किया जाता है:-
"पूरा न किए गए निर्यात दायित्व पर आनुपातिक रूप से बचाए गए शुल्क के 2 % के बराबर संयोजन शुल्क के भुगतान पर की निर्यात दायित्व अवधि को पहली बार बढ़ाने अथवा प्राधिकार पत्र के तहत लगाए गए कुल निर्यात दायित्व के 10% तक लगाए गए निर्यात दायित्व को बढ़ाने , जैसा भी मामला हो , निर्यातक के विकल्प पर, मांगे गए प्रत्येक वर्ष के विस्तार हेतु अनुरोध पर संबंधित क्षेत्रीय प्राधिकारी द्वारा विचार किया जा सकता है । निर्यात दायित्व अवधि में ऐसे पहले विस्तार की अवधि अधिकतम दो वर्ष हो सकती है । "
3. पैरा 5.11 के अन्य सभी प्रावधान अपरिवर्तित रहेंगे ।
4. इसे लोकहित में जारी किया जाता है ।

F. No. 01 / 36/218 /56/ AM 09/Pol . -V/EPCG. I.- In exercise of powers conferred under Para 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 , the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol . I) (RE-2008 ) .
2. The provisions related to grant of extension in export obligation for the first two years given in paragraph 5.11 are amended to read as under :
"Concerned Regional Authority may consider request for grant of first extension in E.O. period on payment of composition fee equal to 2 % of proportionate duty saved amount on unfulfilled export obligation or an enhancement in export obligation imposed to the extent of 10% of total export obligation imposed under authorization , as the case may be at the choice of exporter , for each year of extension sought. Such first extension in E.O. period can be for a maximum period of two years ."
3. All other provisions of Para 5.11 remain unchanged .
4. This issues in public interest.
