का.आ. 98(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार संतुष्ट हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना अपेक्षित था , औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम , 1947 ( 1947 का 14 ) की धारा 2 के खण्ड ( ढ़ ) के उप- खण्ड ( vi ) के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना दिनांक 11-7-2008 द्वारा प्रतिभूति मुद्रणालय , हैदराबाद जो कि औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम, 1947 ( 1947 का 14 ) की प्रथम अनुसूची की प्रविष्टि 12 में शामिल है, को उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए दिनांक 11-7-2008 से छः मास की कालावधिके लिए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोषित किया था ;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार की राय है कि लोकहित में उक्त कालावधि को छः मास की और कालावधि के लिए बढ़ाया जाना अपेक्षित है ;
अतः , अब , औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम , 1947 (1947 का 14 ) की धारा 2 के खण्ड ( ढ़ ) के उप - खण्ड (vi ) के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त उद्योग को उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए दिनांक 11-1-2009 से छः मास की कालावधि के लिए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोषित करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th January, 2009
S.O. 98 (E) . Whereas the Central Government having been satisfied that the public interest so requires that in pursuance of the provisions of sub -clause ( vi) of the clause (n) of Section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947) , declared by the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour dated 11-7-2008 , the service in the Security Printing Press , Hyderabad which is covered by item 12 ofthe Fist Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 ( 14 of 1947) to be a Public Utility Service for the purpose of the said Act, for a period ofsix months from the 11th July, 2008 .
Andwhereas , the Central Government is of opinion thatpublic interest requires the extension ofthe said period by a furhter period of six months .
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi ) of clause (n) of Section 2 ofthe Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 , the Central Government hereby declares the said industry to be a Public Utility Service for the purposes ofthe said Act, for a further period ofsixmonths from the 11th January, 2009.
