आ.अ. 6(अ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 21 के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में , और भारत निर्वाचन आयोग , असम सरकार के परामर्श से , असम राज्य में संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के लिए रिटर्निंग आफिसरों की नियुक्ति से सम्बन्धित अपनी दिनांक 16 जनवरी , 1996 की अधिसूचना संख्या 434/ए एस/96 ( 1 ) में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन और करता है, अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना से सम्बद्ध सारणी के स्तम्भ 2 में मद संख्या 11-कालियाबोर के सामने विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर " अपर उपायुक्त, नोगांव " प्रविष्टि प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी ।
नोट :-ऊपर दर्शाए गए शब्द ए डी सी से अभिप्राय जिले में वरिष्ठतम अपर उपायुक्त से है ।

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi , the 12th January, 2009
O.N. 6 (E) . In pursuance of the provisions of Section 21 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) , the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the Government of Assam , hereby makes the following further amendment in its notification No. 434/ AS/ 96 ( 1 ) , dated 16th January, 1996 , relating to the appointment of Returning Officers for Parliamentary Constituencies in the State of Assam, namely :---
In column 2 of the Table appended to the said notifi- cation, for the existing entry against item No. 11 -Kaliabor, the entry "Additional Deputy Commissioner , Nagaon" shall be substituted.
Note:ADC,mentioned above would mean the senior mostAdditional Deputy Commissioner in the District.
