का.आ. 171 (अ).-जबकि प्रादेशिक ग्रामीण बैंक अधिनियम, 1976 (1976 का 21 ) की धारा 23 क की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के तहत 15 दिसम्बर , 2008 को वित्त मंत्रालय ( वित्तीय सेवाएं विभाग ) में भारत सरकार द्वारा जारी अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 2881 ( अ ) द्वारा , केन्द्रीय सरकार ने बैंक आफ इंडिया द्वारा प्रायोजित रत्नागिरि सिंधुदुर्ग ग्रामीण बैंक , सोलापुर ग्रामीण बैंक और वेनगंगा क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंक (क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंक ) का समामेलन करके एक एकल क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंक नामतः " वेनगंगा कृष्णा ग्रामीण बैंक " , जिसका प्रधान कार्यालय " सोलापुर " में होगा, अधिसूचित किया है ।
अतः , अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार , प्रादेशिक ग्रामीण बैंक अधिनिमय , 1976( 1976 का 21 ) की धारा 23 घ द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , एतद्वारा निदेश देती है कि 15 दिसम्बर , 2008 से रत्नागिरि सिंधुदुर्ग ग्रामीण बैंक, सोलापुर ग्रामीण बैंक और वेनगंगा क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंक जो समामेलन के परिणामस्वरूप कार्य करना समाप्त कर चुके हैं, भंग हुए माने जाएंगे और यह उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 26 में निहित किसी भी विपरीत बात के होते हुए भी, प्रभावी होगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th January, 2009
S.O. 171 (E) .-Whereas by notification of the Gov- ernment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Financial Services ) number S.O. 2881 (E) dated 15th December , 2008 , issued under sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 23 A ofthe Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) , the Central Government has notified for amalgam- ation of the Ratnagiri Sindhudurg Gramin Bank, Solapur Gramin Bank and Wainganga Kshetriya Gramin Bank (Regional Rural Banks ) sponsored by Bank of India into a single Regional Rural Bank called as " Wainganga Krishna Gramin Bank" with its Head Office at " Solapur" .
Now, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise ofthe powers conferred by Section 23D of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) , hereby directs that with effect from 15th December , 2008 , Ratnagiri Sindhudurg Gramin Bank, Solapur Gramin Bank and Wainganga Kshetriya Gramin Bank which by reason of amalgamation have ceased to function , shall stand dis- solved and shall take effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Section 26 of the said Act .

In partial modification of Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services , Extraordinary notification No. S.O. 2881 (E) , dated 15th December, 2008 published in the Gazette of India, Part II , Section 3 , Sub- section( ii) dated the 15th December , 2008 , on Page No. 6 , Table given after line No. 3 , may be read as under:
