का.आ. 342 (अ).-राष्ट्रपति , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 12 के अनुसरण में, केरल राज्य की विधान सभा के निर्वाचित सदस्यों से, उक्त अधिनियम , के उपबंधों और उसके अधीन बनाए गए नियमों और किए गए आदेशों के अनुसार , राज्य सभा के तीन ( 3 ) सदस्यों के स्थानों को, उनकी पदावधि, जिसका अवसान 21-4-2009 को होना है , के अवसान पर, भरने के प्रयोजन के लिए , सदस्यों को निर्वाचित करने की अपेक्षा करती हैं ।

In pursuance of Section 12 of the Representation ofthe People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the President is pleased to call upon the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Kerala to elect, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder , members for the purpose of filling the seats of three(3) members ofthe Council of States whose term ofoffice is due to expire on 21-4-2009 on the expiration oftheir term ofoffice.

का.आ. 343 (अ).-राष्ट्रपति , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 12 के अनुसरण में, जम्मू- कश्मीर राज्य कीविधान सभा के निर्वाचित सदस्यों से , उक्त अधिनियम के उपबंधों और उसके अधीन बनाए गए नियमों और किए गए आदेशों के अनुसार , राज्य सभा के उस एक स्थान को भरने के प्रयोजन के लिए, जो श्री एस. तरलोक सिंह , सदस्य राज्य सभा के 25 नवंबर , 2008 को, उनकी पदावधि के अवसान पर, निवृत्त होने के कारण रिक्त हो चुका है , सदस्य को निर्वाचित करने की अपेक्षा करती हैं ।

In pursuance of Section 12 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the President ispleased to call upon the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Jammu and Kashmir to elect , in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder , one member for the purpose offilling the seat which has fallen vacant on the 25th November, 2008 on the retirement of Shri S. Tarlok Singh , a member of the Council of States , on the expiration of his term ofoffice.
