भारत निर्वाचन आयोग अधिसूचना
(आ) 9.00 बजे पूर्वाहन से 4.00 बजे अपराहन तक का समय , ऐसे समय के रूप में नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो, निर्वाचन के लिए उक्त विनिर्दिष्ट तारीख को , मतदान होगा ।

ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 27th January, 2009 आ.अ. १( अ ).-यतः, भारत के राष्ट्रपति ने , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 12 के अधीन जारी और तारीख 27 जनवरी , 2009 को भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित अधिसूचना द्वारा राज्य की विधान सभा के निर्वाचित सदस्यों से यह अपेक्षा की है कि वे केरल राज्य से राज्य सभा के लिए तीन सदस्य निर्वाचित कर दें :-
अतः , अब , उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 39 की उप - धारा ( 1) और धारा 56 के अनुसरण में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्वारा-
(अ) उक्त निर्वाचन के संबंध में :-
Ο.Ν. 9(E).-Whereas, the President of India has , by notification issued under Section 12 of the Representation ofthe People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) and published in the Gazette of India on 27th January, 2009, been pleased to call upon the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State ofKerala to elect three members to the Council of States;
(क) नाम निर्देशन करने की 3 फरवरी , 2009 (मंगलवार) अन्तिम तारीख
Now, therefore, in pursuance of sub -section ( 1 ) of Section 39 and Section 56 of the said Act, the Election Commission of India hereby-
(ख) नाम निर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख -4 फरवरी , 2009 ( बुधवार )
(A) appoints , with respect to the said election- (ग) अभ्यर्थिताएं वापस लेने की अंतिम तारीख -6फरवरी , 2009 ( शुक्रवार)
(a) the 3rd February, 2009 (Tuesday) , as the last date for making nominations ;
-13 फरवरी , 2009 ( शुक्रवार)
(b) the 4th February, 2009 (Wednesday) , as the date for the scrutiny of the nominations ;
(घ ) वह तारीख , जिसको यदिआवश्यक हुआ तो मतदान होगा,
(c) the 6th February, 2009 (Friday) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;
(ङ) वह तारीख , जिससे पूर्व 16 फरवरी , 2009 (सोमवार )
(d) the 13th February, 2009 (Friday) , as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary, be taken; and निर्वाचन सम्पन्न करा लिया जाएगा
नियत करता है; और ,
(e) the 16th February, 2009 (Monday) , as the date before which the election shall be completed; and

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 27th January, 2009 (B) fixes the hours from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. , as the hours during which the poll shall, ifnecessary, be taken on the date specified above for the election.

O.N. 10(E) . In pursuance of Section 21 , and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 22 , of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the Government of the State of Kerala , hereby-
(i) designates the officer , specified in column (1 ) of the TABLE below, to be the Returning Officer; and
(ii) appoints the officer , specified in column (2 ) ofthe said Table , to be the Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer in the performance of hisfunctions ;
आ.अ. 10 (अ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 21 के अनुसरण में एवं उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 22 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्वारा केरल सरकार के परामर्श से 27 जनवरी , 2009 को भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित आयोग की अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में और राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले द्विवार्षिक निर्वाचन के संबंध में,
(i) नीचे की सारणी के स्तंभ ( 1 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट अधिकारी को रिटर्निंग आफिसर के रूप में पदाभिहित करता है , तथा;
in respect of the biennial election to the Council of States , to be held in that State in pursuance of the Commission's Notification , published in the Gazette of India on 27th January, 2009:
