का.आ. 451(अ).-केन्द्र सरकार, सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम, 2005 ( 2005 की संख्या 22 ) की धारा 2 ( ग ) के साथ पठित धारा 5 ( 1 ) के अंतर्गत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय में निदेशक श्री देवेन्द्र सिंह को ' लोक प्राधिकारी ' अर्थात् केन्द्रीय लोक सूचना अधिकारी के रूप में श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय ( मुख्यालय ) में तत्काल प्रभाव से एवं अगले आदेशों तक नामित करती है ।
श्री देवेन्द्र सिंह अपनी सेवाओं तथा जिम्मेदारियों के अतिरिक्त उक्त अधिनियम के निहितार्थ उद्देश्यों के लिए श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत केन्द्रीय लोक सूचना अधिकारी तथा सहायक केन्द्रीय लोक सूचना अधिकारियों द्वारा उक्त अधिनियम के निहितार्थ उद्देश्योंको पूरा करने के लिए लोक प्राधिकारियों द्वारा की गई कार्रवाइयों का भी समन्वयन करेंगे तथा श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय से संबंधित विषयों में अन्य मंत्रालयों से उक्त अधिनियम के उद्देश्यों को पूरा करने के लिए नोडल अधिकारी भी होंगे ।
श्री एस. के. देव वर्मन , संयुक्त सचिव , भारत सरकार श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय में उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 19 ( 1 ) के निहितार्थ वरिष्ठ अधिकारी बने रहेंगे ।
यह सचिव , श्रम और रोजगार के अनुमोदन से जारी किया जाता है।

New Delhi , the 5th February, 2009
S.O. 451 (E) . In exercise of powers conferred under Section 5 ( 1 ) read with Section 2(C) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (No. 22 of 2005 ) , the Central Government in the Ministry of Labour and Employment designates Shri Devender Singh , Director, Ministry of Labour and Employment as Central Public Information Officer in respect of the ' public authority ' namely, the Ministry of Labour & Employment (Headquarters ) with immediate effect and until further orders .
In addition to his duties and responsibilities to carry out the purposes of the said Act, Shri Devender Singh will also coordinate all actions taken up by the public authorities under the Ministry of Labour and Employment regarding designating the Central Public Information Officer and the Assistant Central Public Information Officers for carrying out the purposes of the said Act and shall be the Nodal Officer for the purposes of the said Act in respect of Ministry of Labour and Employment to interact with other Ministries.
Shri S.K. Dev Verman , Joint Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour & Employment shall continue to be Senior Officer for the purpose of Section 19(1 ) of the said Act .
This supersedes all earlier Notifications issued in the matter .
