का.आ. 512(अ). केन्द्र सरकार , भारतीय मानक ब्यरो अधिनियम , 1986 ( 1986 का 63 ) की धारा 14 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से विचार- विमर्श करने के पश्चात्इलैक्ट्रिकल वायर्स, केबल , उपकरण तथा संरक्षण डिवाइसेस तथा सहायक सामग्री ( गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण ) आदेश , 2003 में आगे और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित आदेश करती है , नामतः :-
S.O. 512 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 1986 (63 of 1986) , the Central Government , after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards , hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Electrical Wires , Cables , Appliances and Protection Devices and Accessories (Quality Control ) Order, 2003 , namely:--
1. ( 1 ) इस आदेश को इलैक्ट्रिकल वायर्स, केबल , उपकरण तथा संरक्षण डिवाइसेस तथा सहायक सामग्री ( गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण ) आदेश , 2009 कहा जायेगा ।
1.(1) This Order may be called the Electrical Wires , Cables , Appliances and Protection Devices and Accessories (Quality Control ) Amendment Order , 2009.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette .
(2 ) यह आदेश सरकारी राजपत्र में इसके प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होगा ।
2. In the Electrical Wires , Cables , Appliances and Protection Devices and Accessories (Quality Control ) Order, 2003 in the Schedule , in serial number 9 relating to self ballasted lamps for general lighting services , after the existing entry under column (2), the following Note shall be inserted, namely:--
2. अनुसूची में इलैक्ट्रिकल वायर्स, केबल , उपकरण तथा संरक्षण डिवाइसेस तथा सहायक सामग्री ( गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण ) आदेश, 2003 , सामान्य प्रकाश सेवाओं के लिए सैल्फ बैलास्टिड लैम्प संबंधी क्रम संख्या 9 में कॉलम (2 ) के अन्तर्गत मौजूदा प्रविष्टि के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित टिप्पण को सम्मिलित किया जायेगा , अर्थात:-
"टिप्पण:- बैलास्ट तथा लैम्प के सम्मिश्रण के विद्युत कारक का मूल्य
1 जनवरी , 2010 सेन्यूनतम 0.85 होगा। "
"Note: The value ofpower factor of the combination of the ballast and the lamp shall be 0.85 minmum with effect from the 1st day of January , 2010. " [फा. सं. 6 (9 ) 2001 - एलईआई ]

द्वारा संशोधित किया गया था।
Note : The principal order was published in the Gazette ofIndia, Extraordinary vide notification number S.O. 189(E), dated the 17th February, 2003 , and subsequently amended vide notification numbers S.O. 165(E), dated the 5th February, 2004 and S.O. 1172(E) , dated the 23rd August, 2005.
