का.आ. 522( अ ). भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का अधिनियम 102 ) की धारा 11 की उप- धारा ( 2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् से परामर्श करने के उपरान्त उक्त अधिनियम की प्रथम अनुसूची में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
2. आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम , 1956 में, प्रथम अनुसूची " राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा बोर्ड " में प्रविष्टि " डिप्लोमा प्राप्त राष्ट्रीय बोर्ड ( भेषज विज्ञान ) [ राष्ट्रीय बोर्ड ( भेषज विज्ञान ) में डिप्लोमा प्राप्त ] " के उपरान्त निम्नलिखित जोड़ा जाएगा , अर्थात्:-
"नोट:-1 . अनुसूची में शामिल डिप्लोमा प्राप्त राष्ट्रीय बोर्ड (डी. एन. बी. ) अर्हताओं को चिकित्सा संस्थानों में शिक्षण पदों पर भर्ती समेत सभी प्रयोजनों के लिए संबंधित विशिष्टता अथवा अतिविशिष्टता, जैसा भी मामला हो , एम. डी. , एम. एस. , डी. एम. तथा एम. सी. एच. अर्हताओं के समतुल्य माना जाएगा ।
2. डिप्लोमा प्राप्त राष्ट्रीय बोर्ड पाठ्यक्रमों को जारी रखने के दौरान प्राप्त शिक्षण अनुभव को चिकित्सा संस्थानों में शिक्षण पदों पर भर्ती के लिए शिक्षण अनुभव के तौर पर माना जाएगा । "

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th February, 2009
S.O. 522 (E) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section(2) of the Section 11 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act 102 of 1956) , the Central Government, after consulting the Medical Council of India, hereby makes the following further amendments to the First Schedule to the said Act, namely :---
2. In the Medical Council Act , 1956 , in First Schedule "National Board of Examination ", after the entry "Diplomate National Board ( Pharmacology) [Diplomate in N.B. (Pharm) ] " , the following note shall be inserted , namely:-
"Note:-1. The Diplomate National Board (DNB) , quali- fications included in this Schedule shall be treated as equivalent to M. D. , M. S. , D. M. and M. Ch. qualifications of the respective specialty or super specialty, as the case may be, for all purposes including appointment to the teaching posts in the medical institu- tions.
2. The teaching experience gained while pursu- ing DNB courses shall be treated as teaching experience for appointment to the teaching posts in the medical institutions . "
