7. का. आ. 2706(अ ).-यतः , मैं. गुजरात इंडस्ट्रियल डेवलपमेंट कॉरपोरेशन , जो गुजरात राज्य में औद्योगिक प्रोत्साहन हेतु एक राज्य संगठन है , ने गुजरात राज्य में बायोटेक पार्क, सावली जी.आई.डी.सी. एस्टेट, ग्राम मंजूसर, जिला वडोदरा में जैव प्रौद्योगिकी के लिए एक क्षेत्र विशिष्ट विशेष आर्थिक जोन की स्थापना हेतु विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम , 2005 ( 2005 का 28 ) ( जिसे एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है ) की धारा 3 के अंतर्गत प्रस्ताव किया है ;

13. और यतः , अब केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है कि उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 8 ) के अंतर्गत अपेक्षाओं तथा अन्य संबंधित अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर लिया गया है और उसने उपर्युक्त विशिष्ट विशेष आर्थिक जोन के विकास , प्रचालन एवं रखरखाव हेतु उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 10 ) के अंतर्गत दिनांक 23 जून , 2009 को अनुमोदन पत्र प्रदान कर दिया है ;

16. अतः, अब , विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और विशेष आर्थिक जोन नियम, 2006 के नियम 8 के अनुसरण में :-

20. (i ) केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित क्षेत्र को एक विशेष आर्थिक जोन के रूप में अधिसूचित करती है जिसमें निम्नलिखित तालिका में उल्लिखित सर्वेक्षण संख्या और क्षेत्र शामिल हैं , अर्थात्:---

( ii ) केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 14
की प्रयोजनार्थ उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन के लिए एक समिति, जिसे अनुमोदन समिति कहा जाएगा , गठित करती है , जिसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य निम्नानुसार हैं , अर्थात्:-
-अध्यक्ष , पदेन 1 विशेष आर्थिक जोन का विकास आयुक्त
2. निदेशक अथवा उप - सचिव , भारत सरकार वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय , वाणिज्य विभाग या उसका नामिती जिसका स्तर अवर सचिव , भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा

-सदस्य, पदेन 5. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाले आयकर आयुक्त अथवा उसका नामिती जिसका स्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा

7. गुजरात सरकार द्वारा नामित किए जाने वाले दो अधिकारी जिनका स्तर संयुक्त सचिव से कम नहीं होगा

8. मै. गुजरात इंडस्ट्रियल डेवलपमेंट कॉरपोरेशन (जोन के विकासकर्ता ) का प्रतिनिधि -विशेष आमंत्रिती
(iii ) केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्वारा , दिनांक 27 अक्तूबर , 2009 को उस तारीख के रूप में निर्धारित करती है जिस तारीख से उक्त क्षेत्र विशिष्ट विशेष जोन को सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52) की धारा 7 के अंतर्गत अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो माना जाएगा ।

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th October , 2009
S.O. 2706 (E) .-Whereas M/s . Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation , a state industrial promotion organisation in the State of Gujarat , has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for biotechnology sector at Biotech Park, Savli GIDC Estate, Village Manjusar , District Vadodara in the State ofGujarat;

And whereas , the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub - section (8 ) of Section 3 of the saidAct , and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub - section ( 10) of Section 3 of the said Act for development , operation and maintenance of the above Special Economic Zone on the 23rd June, 2007;

Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 :--

4. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाले सीमा- शुल्क आयुक्त या केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क आयुक्त अथवा उनका नामित जिसका स्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा
(i ) the Central Government hereby notifies the followingarea comprising ofthe following survey numbers and area given below in the Table , as a Special Economic Zone, namely :-- 3

(ii) the Central Government hereby also constitutes a Committee tobe called the Approval Committee for the above sector specific Special Economic Zone for the purposes of Section 14 of the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members , namely:
