आ.अ. 158(अ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 22 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारत निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी, समय - समय पर यथा- संशोधित, दिनांक 12 जून , 2008 की अधिसूचना सं. 434/उ.प्र.- लो.स. /2008 ( 1 ) द्वारा नियुक्त अधिकारियों के अतिरिक्त एतद्द्वारा नीचे की सारणी के स्तम्भ (2 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट सरकार के प्रत्येक अधिकारी को, उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 1 ) में यथा- विनिर्दिष्ट उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य में संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर की उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य में लोक सभा के उप- निर्वाचन की मतगणना में सहायता करने के लिए सहायक रिटर्निंग आफिसर के रूप में नियुक्त करता है :-

प्रत्येक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में सहायक रिटर्निंग आफिसरों के रूप में उपर्युक्त अधिकारियों की नियुक्ति, संबंधित निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में मतों की गणना सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न होने पर प्रभावी नहीं रहेगी ।

New Delhi , the 28th October, 2009
O.N. 158(E ) . In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section ( 1) of Section 22 of the Representation of People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) , the Election Commission of Indiahereby appoints , in addition to the officers appointed by itsNotification No. 434/UP -HP/2008( 1 ), dated 12th June, 2008, as amended from time to time, each ofthe officers of the Government of Uttar Pradesh as specified in column (2) of the Table below as Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer of the Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Uttar Pradesh as specified in column (1 ) of the said Table in counting of votes of the Bye-election to the Lok Sabha in the Uttar Pradesh State:-
