सा.का.नि. 805(अ).सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम, 1962 ( 1962 का 52) की धारा 2 की उप- धारा ( i ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट होने पर कि ऐसा करना जनहित में अनिवार्य है , एतद्वारा निदेश देती है कि नीचे की सारणी के कॉलम ( 2 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की प्रत्येक अधिसूचना को उक्त सारणी के कॉलम (3 ) में सामने दी गई प्रविष्टि में विनिर्दिष्ट तरीके से पुनः संशोधित करने हेतु, जैसा मामला हो, संशोधित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:
