का.आ. 2904(अ) , केन्द्रीय सरकार, सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम , 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 6 द्वारा दत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग
करते हुए, यह अवधारित करती है कि:--
( क) " राष्ट्रमंडल के 60 वर्ष " के अवसर पर केन्द्रीय सरकार के प्राधिकार के अधीन जारी कर के लिए टकसाल में निम्नलिखित अंकित मूल्य के सिक्कों का निर्माण भी किया जाएगा , अर्थात्:-
(i ) एक सौ रुपये;
( ii ) पांच रुपये;
( ख ) उपरोक्त अंकित मूल्य के सिक्के, निम्नलिखित विमाओं , डिजाइन और संरचना के अनुरूप होंगे , अर्थात्:-

मुख भाग
सिक्के के मुख भाग पर मध्य में अशोक स्तंभ का सिंह शीर्ष होगा जिसके नीचे " सत्यमेव जयते " इबारत अंतर्लिखित होगी , उसकी ऊपरी बाईं परिधि पर हिन्दी में " भारत " शब्द और ऊपरी दाईं परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में " INDIA " शब्द होगा । सिंह शीर्ष के नीचे इस पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंकित मूल्य " 100 " भी होगा और निचली बाईं परिधि पर हिन्दी में " रुपये " शब्द और निचली दाईं परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में " RUPEES " शब्द होगा ।

सिक्के के इस भाग पर "संसद भवन " की आकृति होगी जिसके साथ बाईं परिधि पर हिन्दी में " राष्ट्रमंडल के 60 वर्ष " तथा दाहिनी परिधि में अंग्रेजी में 60 YEARS OF THE COMMON WEALTH " होगा और संसद भवन की आकृति के नीचे वर्ष " 2009 " अंकित होगी ।

मुख भाग

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 17th November, 2009
S.O. 2904(E). In exercise of the power conferred by Section 6 of the Coinage Act , 1906 (3 of 1906 ) , the Central Government hereby determines that :-
(a) the coins of the following denominations shall also be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of " 60 YEARS OF THE COMMON WEALTH " , namely :-
(1 ) One Hundred Rupees;
(2) Five Rupees;
(b) the coins of the above denomination shall conform to the following dimensions , designs and composition , namely:--

OBVERSE
The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते " inscribed below, flanked on the left upper periphery with the word " भारत " in Hindi and on the right upper periphery flanked with the word " INDIA " in English. It shall also bear the denominational value " 100" in International Numerals below the Lion Capital, flanked on the left lower periphery with the word " रुपये " in Hindi and on the right lower periphery with the word " RUPEES in English .

REVERSE
The face ofthe coin shall bear the image of " PARLIAMENT OF INDIA" with inscription " राष्ट्रमंडल के 60 वर्ष " inHindi, on the left periphery and in English " 60 YEARS OF THE COMMON WEALTH" on the right periphery and Year "2009 " below the image of Parliament of India .
2. FIVE RUPEES
OBVERSE
