का.आ. 2972(अ).- भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् अधिनियम , 1984 ( 1984 का 52 ) के खण्ड 16 के उप-खण्ड (3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार , भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् से परामर्श करने के बाद, भारत से बाहर पशुचिकित्सा संस्थान द्वारा प्रदत्त पशुचिकित्सा अर्हता के उक्त अधिनियम के उद्देश्यों के लिए मान्यताप्राप्त पशुचिकित्सा अर्हता को मान्यता प्रदान करती है तथा उस उद्देश्य के लिए निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है ताकि उक्त अधिनियम की दूसरी अनुसूची में इन पशुचिकित्सा अर्हताओं को शामिल किया जा सके, नामतः :-
उपरोक्त अधिनियम की दूसरी अनुसूची में क्रम सं. 12 और उससे सम्बन्धित प्रविष्टियों के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्या और प्रविष्टियाँ प्रतिस्थापित करें, नामतः:-
पंजीकरण के लिए संक्षिप्ति
मान्यताप्राप्त पशुचिकित्सा अर्हता
देश तथा संस्थान
डीवीएम
डाक्टर ऑफ वेटिरिनरी मेडीसिन
स्टेट अकादमी ऑफ
यह अर्हता केवल तभी बी. वी.एससी एंड ए. एच.
(डीवीएम)
वेटेरिनरी मेडीसिन , सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग ,
के समतुल्य मान्यताप्राप्त पशुचिकित्सा अर्हता 13. सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग रूस
मानी जाएगी जब वह 24-11-1987 को अथवा उसके बाद प्रदान की गई हो ।

NOTIFICATION
Now Delhi , the 23rd November, 2009
S.O. 2972 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (3 ) of Section 16 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) , the Central Government, after consulting the Veterinary Council of India , hereby recognizes veterinary qualification granted by veterinary institution outside India as recognized veterinary qualification for the pur- poses of the said Act and for that purpose makes the following amendment so as to include these veterinary qualifications in the Second Schedule to the Act aforesaid , namely :-
In the Second Schedule to the said Act-After serial No. 12 and the entries relating thereto , the following serial number and entries shall be added, namely :--

Recognized Veterinary Qualification
Country and Institution
DVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
13. Saint Petersburg State Academy of Veterinary Medicine , Saint Petersburg, Russia
This qualification shall be a recognizel Veterinary qualification equivalent to B.V.Sc. & A.H. only when granted on or after 24-11-1987 .
