सा.का.नि. 849(अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , सीमाशुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 की उप - धारा ( 1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय (राजस्व विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं. 21 /2002- सीमाशुल्क, तारीख 1 मार्च , 2002 , जो भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II , खंड 3 , उप-खंड ( i ) सा.का.नि. 118( अ) , तारीख 1 मार्च, 2002 द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई थी, में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में , सारणी में , क्रम सं. 38खख के सामने, स्तंभ (3 ) की प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि प्रतिस्थापित की जायेगी , अर्थात्:-
" परिष्कृत या सफेद चीनी , 31 मार्च, 2010 तक आयातित"

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department ofRevenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 27th November , 2009 No. 126/2009 -Customs
G.S.R. 849( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by/sub -section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of1962), the Central Government , on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry ofFinance (Department ofRevenue ), No. 21 /2002- Customs, dated the 1st March , 2002, which was published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub -section ( i) vide number G.S.R. 118 (E) , dated the 1st March , 2002, namely:
In the said notification, in the Table , against S. No. 38BB, for the entry in column (3 ) , the following entry shall be substituted , namely :---
"Refined or white sugar , imported up to and inclusive of 31st March , 2010 " .

Note : The principal notification No. 21 /2002 -Customs , dated the 1stMarch, 2002, was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub-section (i) videnumber G.S.R. 118 (E) , dated the 1st March, 2002 andwas last amended by Notification No. 125/2009- Customs, dated the 11th November, 2009 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub- section ( i) vide number G.S.R. 810(E), dated the 11th November , 2009.
