का.आ. 3097( अ ).-भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 102 ) की धारा 19 की उप- धारा ( 4 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारतीय चिकित्सा परिषद्, महाराष्ट्र राज्य सरकार और कॉलेज ऑफ फिजिशियन्स एंड सर्जन्स, मुम्बई से सलाह- मशविरा करने के पश्चात् केन्द्र सरकार उक्त अधिनियम की प्रथम अनुसूची में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है; अर्थात्:
उक्त प्रथम अनुसूची में, मुख्य शीर्षक " कॉलेज ऑफ फिजिशियन्स एंड सर्जन्स , मुम्बई, " शीर्षक " मान्यताप्राप्त चिकित्सा अर्हता " [ स्तम्भ ( 2 ) में ] और शीर्षक " पंजीकरण के लिए संक्षेपण " [ स्तम्भ ( 3 ) में ] के अंतर्गत निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियों , को हटा दिया जाएगा :

ये अर्हताएं इस अनुसूची के अंतर्गत केवल तभी मान्यता प्राप्त चिकित्सा अर्हताएं होंगी जब ये उन व्यक्तियों द्वारा प्राप्त की गई हों जिन्होंने इस अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट अन्य कोई चिकित्सा अर्हता प्राप्त की हुई हो ।

$ . O. 3097 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (4) of section 19 ofthe Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956 ), the Central Government , after consulting the Medical Council of India, State Government of Maharashtra and College of Physicians and Surgeons , Bombay hereby makes the following further amendments in the First Schedule to the said Act, namely: --
In the said First Schedule , following entries appearing under the main heading " COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS , BOMBAY" , the heading " Recognized Medical Qualification" [ in column (2) ] and the heading " Abbreviation for Registration" [ in column ( 3 ) ] , shall be deleted:

Fellowships of the College of Physicians and Surgeons , Bombay in Medicine , Pathology , Surgery & Dermatology
Fellowships of the College of Physicians and Surgeons , Bombay in Midwifery and Gynaecology.
Fellowship of the College of Physicians Surgeons , Bombay in Ophthalmology
Diploma in Pathology & Bacteriology
Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics
Diploma in Child Health
M.C.P.S.
(This qualification shall be a recognized medical qualification only when granted after the 30th April , 1944.)
