NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th December, 2009
S.O. 3117(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the then Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) under S.O. 849 (E) dated the 10th April, 2008, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule annexed thereto as the Competent Authorities to perform the functions of such authorities under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said schedule relating to districts, taluks, police stations, and villages mentioned in columns (4), (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said schedule for building (widening/four laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No. 47 in the State of Kerala.
