सा.का.नि. 864( अ ).-केन्दीय सरकार केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा ऽक की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के साथ पठित अतिरिक्त उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम (विशेष महत्व का माल) 1957 ( 1957 का 58 ) की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 3 ) , अतिरिक्त उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम ( कपड़ा और कपड़ा वस्तु) , 1978 ( 1978 का 40 ) की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि लोकहित मेंऐसा करना आवश्यक है , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व - विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं. 50/2003-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क तारीख 10 जून, 2003 को भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उप-खण्ड ( i ) में सा.का.नि. 472 (अ) , तारीख 10 जून , 2003 द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई थी , में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में , अनुबंध II में शीर्ष के अंतर्गत " 1. उत्तराखंड राज्य " , उपशीर्ष में " ( 8 ) जिला-पौरी गढ़वाल " , श्रेणी ( ख ) में, सारणी में , क्रम सं. 38 के सामने स्तंभ ( 4 ) में,
4465 GI/2009
प्रविष्टियां" 7.6.2.8 " के स्थान पर प्रविष्टियां " 46 , 47 , 52, 2 और 8" प्रतिस्थापित की जाएंगी ।

तारीख 10 जून, 2003 भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उप - खंड ( i ) में तारीख 10 जून, 2003 , सा.का.नि. 472( अ ) के जरिए प्रकाशित हुई थी, और इसमें अंतिम संशोधन अधिसूचना सं. 1/2008-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, तारीख 18 जनवरी , 2008 भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उप- खण्ड ( i ) में सा.का.नि. 42 ( अ) , तारीख 18 जनवरी , 2008 के द्वारा प्रकाशित हुई थी , के द्वारा किया गया था ।

G.S.R. 864(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of Section 5A of the Central Excise Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944) read with sub - section ( 3 ) of Section 3 of

the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957 (58 of 1957) and sub - section (3 ) of Section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Textiles and TextileArticles) Act, 1978 (40 of 1978) , the Central Govern- ment , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amend- ments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance , Department Revenue , No. 50/2003- Central Excise, dated the 10th June , 2003 which was pub- lished in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary , Part II , Sec- tion3 , Sub - section ( i) , vide number G.S.R. 472 (E), dated the 10th June , 2003 , namely :--
In the said notification , in ANNEXURE II , under head- ing " 1. STATE OF UTTARAKHAND " , in sub -heading " (8 )
[PART II-SEC. 3 (i)]
District-Pauri Garhwal " , in Category (B ) , in the Table , against serial number 38, in column (4 ) , for the entries " 7, 6, 2 , 8 ", the entries " 46, 47, 52, 2 and 8 " , shall be substituted .

Note : The principal notification No. 50/2003 - Central Excise , dated the 10th June , 2003 , was published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary Part II , Section 3, Sub-section ( i) , vide number G.S.R. 472(E ) , dated the 10th June , 2003 and was last amendedby notification No. 1/2008 - Central Excise , dated the 18th January, 2008 vide number G.S.R. 42 ( E) , dated the 18th January, 2008 .
