सा.का.नि. 884(अ) . केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया है कि रिमूनावैंट औषधि के उपयोग से मानवों के जोखिम में पड़ने की सम्भावना है और उक्त औषधि की सुरक्षित अनुकल्पी औषधि उपलब्ध है ;
G.S.R. 884 ( E) . Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that use of the drug Rimonabant is likely to involve certain risk to human beings and whereas safer alternatives to the said drug is available;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया है कि उक्त औषधि का विनिर्माण , विक्रय और वितरण को प्रतिषिद्ध करना लोकहित में आवश्यक और समीचीन है;
And , whereas the Central Government is satisfied thatit is necessary and expedient to prohibit the import of the said drug in the public interest ;
अतः , अब , केन्द्रीय सरकार औषधि और प्रसाधन सामग्री अधिनियम, 1940 ( 1940 का 23 ) की धारा 10 क द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्यांक सा.का. नि. 577 ( अ ) , तारीख 23 जुलाई, 1983 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्: -
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Section- 10 - A of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act , 1940 ( 23 of 1940 ), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification ofthe Government ofIndia in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare No. G.S.R. 577 (E), dated the 23rd July, 1983 , namely :---
In the Table appended to the said notification , after serial number 9 and the entry relating thereto , the following serial number and entry shall be inserted namely:-
10 रिमूनार्बेट"
उक्त अधिसूचना से उपाबद्ध सारणी में क्रम संख्यांक 9 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्यांक और प्रविष्टियांअंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , अर्थात्:- "
" 10. Rimonabant ."
