का.आ. 3242( अ ) बैंककारी विनियमन अधिनियम , 1949 (1949 का 10 ) की धारा 53 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक की सिफारिश पर , एतद्वारा , यह घोषणा करती है कि उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 13 के प्रावधान युनाइटेड बैंक ऑफ इंडिया पर उस सीमा तक लागू नहीं होंगे , जहाँ तक उनका संबंध 50 करोड़ रुपए की राशि के दस- दस रुपए के 5 करोड़ इक्विटी शेयर जारी करने के लिए बैंक के प्रारंभिक सार्वजनिक प्रस्ताव से है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 16th December , 2009
S.O. 3242 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1) of Section 53 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (10 of 1949 ), the Central Government , on the recommendations of Reserve Bank of India , hereby declares that the provisions of Section 13 of the said Act . shall not apply to the United Bank of India in so far as they relate to the Initial Public Offer of the Bank for issue of 5 crore equity shares of Rs . 10 cach amounting to Rs . 50 crore .
