और, यतः , केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है कि उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 8 ) के अंतर्गत अपेक्षाओं तथा अन्य संबंधित अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर लिया गया है और उसने तमिलनाडु राज्य के गाँव मालुमीचमपट्टी , कोयम्बटुर दक्षिण तालुक , जिला कोयम्बटुर में सूचना प्राद्योगिकी/सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संबंधित सेवाओं में विशेष आर्थिक जोन की स्थापना हेतु विशेष आर्थिक जोन के विकास, प्रचालन एवं रखरखाव हेतु उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 10 ) के अंतर्गत दिनांक 18 नवम्बर, 2009 को अनुमोदन पत्र प्रदान कर दिया है;

( ii ) केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनार्थ उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन के लिए एक समिति भी गठित करती है, जिसे अनुमोदन समिति कहा जाएगा , जिसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य निम्नानुसार होंगे , अर्थात्: -

विशेष आर्थिक जोन को सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 की धारा 7 के अंतर्गत अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो/पत्तन माना जाएगा ।

New Delhi , the 12th January , 2010
S.O. 65 ( E ) . Whereas M/ s . Larsen & Toubro Limited , has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of2005 ) , ( hereinafter referred to as the said Act) , to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone Information Technology /Information Technology Enabled Services sector at Village Malumichampatti , Coimbatore South Taluk, District- Coimbatore in the State of Tamil Nadu;

सदस्य, पदेन 2. निदेशक अथवा उप सचिव , भारत सरकार, वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय , वाणिज्य विभाग या उसका नामिती जिसका स्तर अवर सचिव, भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा
And whereas , the Central Government is satisfied thatrequirements under sub - section ( 8) of Section 3 ofthe said Act , and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub - section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for development operation and maintenance of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology/ Information Technology Enabled Services sector at Coimbatore , Tamil Nadu on 18th November , 2009;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 4 , sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 13, sub - section (2) of Section 53 and sub- section 1 of Section 11 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance ofRule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules , 2006:-
