(क) नियम 2 में खंड ( ज ) की जगह निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात :-
( केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क एवं सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड )
अधिसूचना
" ( ज ) ' पक्षकार ' का अर्थ भारत अथवा इन नियमों के साथ संलग्न अनुबंध- IV में विनिर्दिष्ट एसियान ( ए एस ई ए एन ) सदस्य राज्य तथा ' पक्षकारों ' का अर्थ संयुक्त रूप से भारत और एसियान नियमों के साथ संलग्न अनुबंध में यथा विनिर्दिष्ट एसियान ( ए एस ई ए एन ) सदस्य राज्य हैं " ;

( ख) अनुबंध- III के बाद निम्नलिखित अनुबंध जोड़ा जाएगा अर्थात :-

सा.का.नि. 41 ( अ ) सीमा शुल्क टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1975 (1975 का 51 ) की धारा 5 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार एतद्दद्वारा भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग II , खंड 3 , उप-खंड ( i ) में दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर , 2009 को सं. सा.का.नि. 937 ( अ ) [ भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय , राजस्व विभाग , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क एवं सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड की अधिसूचना सं. 189/2009- सीमा शुल्क ( गै .टै. ) , दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर , 2009 के जरिए के जरिए प्रकाशित सीमा- शुल्क टैरिफ [ दक्षिण पूर्व एशियाई राष्ट्रों ( ए एस ई ए एन ) के सदस्य राज्यों की सरकारों तथा भारतीय गणतंत्र के बीच अधिमान्य व्यापार करार के अंतर्गत माल के मूल का निधार्रण ] नियमावली, 2009 में पुनः निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात

नोट: - मूल नियमावली सं. सा.का.नि. 937 ( अ ) , दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर , 2009 के जरिए भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण, भाग II , खंड 3 , उप- खंड ( i ) में प्रकाशित हुई थी ।
सीमा- शुल्क टैरिफ [ दक्षिण पूर्व एशियाई राष्ट्रों ( ए एस ई ए एन ) के सदस्य राज्यों की सरकारों तथा भारतीय गणतंत्र के बीच अधिमान्य व्यापार करार के अंतर्गत माल के मूल का निधार्रण ] नियमावली, 2009 में-

(a) in rule 2, for clause (j ) , the following shall be substituted namely:-

" (j ) ' party ' means India or an ASEAN Member State specified in Annexure IV annexed to these rules and 'parties' means India and ASEAN Member States collectively, as specified in the said Annexure annexed to these rules".
(b) after Annexure III , the following Annexure shall be added, namely :

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 5 of the Customs TariffAct, 1975 (51 of 1975) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Customs Tariff [Determination of Origin of Goods under the Preferential Trade Agreement between the Governments of Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Republic of India ] Rules , 2009 published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary , Part II , Section 3 , Sub-section (i ) , vide number G.S.R. 937 (E) , [ vide Notification No. 189/2009-Customs (N.T. ) , of the Government of India, Ministry ofFinance , Department ofRevenue , Central Board of Excise and Customs , dated the 31st December , 2009 ] dated the 31st December , 2009 , namely :-
