F. No. 14(1)/2009-M E. —Whereas, in pursuance of the provisions of Section 2 of the Salary and Allowances
of Leaders of Opposition in Parliament Act, 1977 (No. 33 of
1977), the Speaker of the House of the People has
recognized Smt. Sushma Swaraj as the Leader of
Opposition in the House of the People with effect from
21st December, 2009.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred
by Section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby notify Smt. Sushma Swaraj as the Leader of
