2.The units having production capacity above 30 tpd shall channelise their emission through a stack or chimney of height at least thirt y metres above ground level or three metres above the top of shed or building whichever is more.
B. Fugitive Omission Standards (11g/rn3)
Particulate matter 2,(X)0 C.S.R. 61(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 6 and 25 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, namely :—
I. (1) These rules may be called the Environment
(Protection) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2010.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.
Note:—Fugitive emission shall be monitored at a distance of 10 ± I metres from the source, irrespective of production capacity.".
