१० वि० संख्या. 1-45023 / 1 / 2010. कार्मिक. II- केन्द्रीय पुलिस बलों (सी.पी.एफ.) अर्थात सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बी.एस.एफ.) , केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (सी.आर.पी.एफ.) , भारत तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आई.टी.बी.पी. ), केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (सी.आई. एस.एफ.) तथा सशस्त्र सीमा बल (एस.एस.बी. ) में सहायक कमांडेंट की रिक्तियों को भरने के उदेश्य से 2010 में संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित की गई प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा की नियमावली, जिसे 29 मई, 2010 को भारत के असाधारण राजपत्र के भाग 1 , खंड 1 में प्रकाशित किया गया, में किए गए संशोधन सर्वसाधारण की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशित किए जाते है ।
(i) नियम-4 को ऐसे पढ़े:-
" नियम 4 : इस परीक्षा के लिए पुरुष तथा महिला उम्मीदवार दोनों ही पात्र होंगे किन्तु महिला उम्मीदवारों को केवल के० रि०पु० बल, के०औ ० सु० बल तथा स० सी० बल में नियुक्ति के लिए ही विचार किया जाएगा । "
स्पष्टीकरण- किसी महिला उम्मीदवार को संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा सफल घोषित किए गए उम्मीदवारों की सूची मे उसका नाम शामिल होने के बावजूद नियुक्त नहीं किया जाएगा यदि उसे सफल उम्मीदवारों की योग्यता सूची और दर्शाई गई पसन्द के आधार पर केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल, केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल या सशस्त्र सीमा बल आंबटित नही किया जाता है । "
(ii) नियम-15 के पैरा -9 को ऐसे पढ़े : -
" नियम-15 (9 ): साक्षात्कार / व्यक्तित्व परीक्षण के लिए बनाई गई उम्मीदवारों की लघु सूची सहित अंतिम रूप से साक्षात्कार / व्यक्तित्व परीक्षण के लिए बनाई गई लघु सूची हेतु उम्मीदवारों को विस्तृत आवेदन प्रपत्र जारी किया जाएगा जिसमें अन्य बातों के साथ बल की वरीयताएं निर्दिष्ट करने को कहा जाएगा । चूंकि महिला

उम्मीदवार केवल केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल, केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल तथा सशस्त्र सीमा बल के लिए ही पात्र हैं, उन्हें केवल इन्हीं तीन बलो के लिए ही अपनी वरीयता निर्दिष्ट करना अपेक्षित होगा । "
(iii) नियम-20 को ऐसे पढ़े :-
"नियम-20: अंतिम रूप से चयनित उम्मीदवारों के संबंध में सेवा आबंटन गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा योग्यता तथा बलों के लिए वरीयता के आधार पर, जैसे उम्मीदवारों ने विस्तृत आवेदन प्रपत्र में निर्दिष्ट किया है, किया जाएगा । चूंकि महिला उम्मीदवार केवल केन्द्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल, केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल तथा सशस्त्र सीमा बल में नियुक्ति के लिए ही पात्र हैं , उन्हें अपनी वरीयता केवल इन्हीं तीन बलों के लिए ही निर्दिष्ट करनी होंगी । "

No. 1-45023 /1 /2010- Pers - II . The amendments to the Rules for a competitive examination , conducted by Union Public Service Commission in 2010 for the purpose of filling up vacancies of Assistant Commandants in Central Police Forces (CPFs) viz . BSF, CRPF , ITBP , CISF and SSB , published in Part- 1 , Section I of the Extra- ordinary Gazette of India dated 29th May, 2010 are published for general information: -
(i ) Rule 4 maybe read as under: -
"Rule 4 : Both Male and Female candidates will be eligible for this examination , but Female candidates will be considered for appointment to CRPF , CISF and SSB only . "
"Explanation - A female candidate , even if her name is there in the list of successful candidates as declaredby UPSC , may notbe appointed if she does not get allocated to CRPF , CISF or SSB on the basis of merit and choice indicated by successful candidates " .
(ii) Para 9 of Rule 15 maybe read as under: -
" Rule 15 (9) : Candidates who are short-listed for Interview/ Personality Test, including those short-listed for Interview / Personality Test provisionally willbe issued a Detailed Application Form ( DAF) in which among other things , they will be required to indicate their preferences of Forces . Asfemale candidates are eligible for appointment to CRPF , CISF and SSB only , they will be required to indicate their preferences for these three Forces only .

"Rule 20 : Service allocation in respect of finally selected candidates will be made by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the basis of merit and preference for Forces to be indicated by the candidates in the Detailed Application Form ( DAF) . As Female candidates will be eligible for appointmentto CRPF , CISF and SSB only , they will have to indicate their preference for these three Forces only. "
