का.आ. 2723 ( अ) . केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो नियम , 1987 के नियम 13 के खंड ( चक ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात निम्नलिखित आदेश करती है , अर्थात्:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ ( 1 ) इस आदेश का संक्षिप्त नाम वस्तुएं ( स्वैच्छिक रजिस्ट्रीकरण ) आदेश , 2010 है ।
( 2 ) यह आदेश राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से नब्बे दिन की अवधि के पश्चात् प्रवृत्त होगा ।
2. परिभाषाएं: इस आदेश में , जब तक अन्यथा अपेक्षित न
हो:-
( 1 ) ' अधिनियम ' से भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अधिनियम , 1986 (1986 का 63 ) अभिप्रेत है ;
(2 ) ' नियम ' से भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो नियम , 1987 अभिप्रेत है; और
(3 ) उन शब्दों और पदों के, जो इसमें प्रयुक्त हैं, और परिभाषित नहीं हैं , अर्थ वही होंगे जो अधिनियम अथवा नियमों में हैं ।
3. केंद्रीय सरकार स्वैच्छिक रजिस्ट्रीकरण के लिए निम्नलिखित वस्तुओं को अधिसूचित करती है :-

ORDER
New Delhi , the 4th November , 2010
S.O. 2723 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( fa) of rule 13 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules , 1987 , the Central Government , after consulting the Bureau , hereby notifies the following Order, namely :-
1. Short title and commencement. ( 1 ) This Order shall be called the Articles ( Voluntary Registration ) Order, 2010.
(2) This Order shall come, into force after a period of ninety days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Definitions . In this Order , unless the context otherwise required ,-
(1 ) " Act" means the Bureau of Indian Standards Act , 1986 ( 63 of 1986 ) ;
(2) " Rules " means the Bureau of Indian Standards , Rues , 1987 ; and
(3 ) Words and expressions used herein but not defined in this Order shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act or Rules .
