का.आ. 2761 (अ).-यतः , मै. जे. टी. होल्डिंग्स प्राईवेट लिमिटेड , जो आन्ध्र प्रदेश राज्य में एक निजि संगठन है , ने आन्ध्र प्रदेश राज्य में काँचा इमारत , रविरयाल ग्राम , हिमारत तालुक, महेश्वरम मंडल , रंगरेड्डी जिले में सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी समर्थित सेवाओं और इलेक्ट्रोनिक्स हार्डवेयर के लिए एक क्षेत्र विशिष्ट विशेष आर्थिक जोन की स्थापना हेतु विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम , 2005 ( 2005 का 28 ) , ( जिसे एतपश्चात् उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है ) की धारा 3 के अंतर्गत प्रस्ताव किया था;
और यतः , केन्द्र सरकार ने , विशेष आर्थिक जोन नियमावली , 2006 के नियम 8 के साथ पठित अधिनियम की धारा 4 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय की दिनांक 18 मई , 2007 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 784 (अ ) में 28.33 हेक्टेयर के क्षेत्र को विशेष आर्थिक जोन के रूप में अधिसूचित किया था;
और अब , यतः , विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम , 2005 (2005 का 28 ) की धारा 13 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 14 के प्रयोजनार्थ उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन के लिए एक समिति, जिसे अनुमोदन समिति कहा जाएगा , गठित करती है , जिसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य निम्नानुसार हैं , अर्थात्:-
1. विशेष आर्थिक जोन का विकास आयुक्त -अध्यक्ष , पदेन
सदस्य , पदेन 2. निदेशक अथवा उप - सचिव , भारत सरकार , वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय , वाणिज्य विभाग या उसका नामिती जिसका स्तर अवर सचिव , भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा

3. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय -सदस्य, पदेन क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाला क्षेत्रीय संयुक्त विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशक
-सदस्य, पदेन 4. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाले सीमा- शुल्क आयुक्त या केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क आयुक्त अथवा उनका नामिती जिसका स्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा
-सदस्य, पदेन 5. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाले आयकर आयुक्त अथवा उसका नामिती जिसका स्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा
-सदस्य , पदेन 6. निदेशक ( बैंकिंग ) , वित्त मंत्रालय , बैंकिंग प्रभाग , भारत सरकार
-सदस्य, पदेन 7. आन्ध्र प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा नामित किए जाने वाले दो अधिकारी जिनका स्तर संयुक्त सचिव से कम नहीं होगा
-विशेष आमंत्रिती 8. मै . जे . टी . होल्डिग्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड (जोन के विकासकर्ता ) का प्रतिनिधि
और अब , यतः , विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम , 2005 (2005 का 28 ) की धारा 53 की उप - धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा दिनांक 18 मई , 2007 को उस तारीख के रूप में निर्धारित करती है जिस तारीख से उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन को सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 (1962 का 52 ) की धारा 7 के अंतर्गत अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो माना जाएगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 9th November, 2010
S.O. 2761 (E).-Whereas , M/ s . J. T. Holdings Private Limited , a private organization in the State of. Andhra Pradesh, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of2005 ) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) , to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for, information technology and information technology enabled services and electronics hardware at Kancha Imarat , Raviryal Village , Himarath Taluka , Maheshwaram Mandal , Ranga Reddy District in the State ofAndhra Pradesh;
Andwhereas, the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules , 2006 , had notified the area of 28.33 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 784 (E) , dated 18th May, 2007 ;
And now, therefore , the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 13 ofthe Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of Section 14 of the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members , namely :---
-Chairperson ex officio 1. Development Commissioner ofthe Special Economic Zone
--Member, ex officio 2. Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India , Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India

--Member, ex officio 3. Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade , having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone
-Member, ex officio 4. Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner
-Member , ex officio 5. Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank ofJoint Commissioner
-Member, ex officio 6. Director (Banking) in the Ministry ofFinance , Banking Division , Government of India
-Member , ex officio 7. Two Officers , not below the rank ofJoint Secretary, to be nominated by the Government of Andhra Pradesh
---Special Invitee 8. Representative of M/ s . J. T. Holdings Properties Private Limited (Developer of the Zone)
And, now, therefore , the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (2) of Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act , 2005 (28 of2005) , hereby appoints the 18th day of May, 2007 as the date from which the above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the Customs Act , 1962 ( 52 of 1962).
