The Central Govt. hereby authorizes the District Land Acquisition Officer, Distt.-Dhanbad, Jharkhand as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from km 398.75 to km 441.440 of the NH No. 2 for building, maintenance, management and operation of the said NH in the State of Jharkhand, as specified in the Schedule given below.
