विषय : प्रक्रिया पुस्तक खण्ड -1 , 2009-2014 ( आरई -2010 ) के पैराग्राफ 2.27 में संशोधन-नमूनों के आयात के संबंध में ।
फा. सं. 01 /93/180/30/एएम -11/पीसी-2( बी )-विदेश व्यापार नीति , 2009-2014 के पैराग्राफ 2.4 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , सीमा शुल्क अधिसूचना सं. 16 दिनांक 27-2-2010 को ध्यान में रखते हुए , प्रक्रिया पुस्तक, खंड-1 , 2009-2014 (आरई -2010 ) के पैरा 2.27 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन किए जाते हैं :-

सीमा शुल्क अधिसूचना की शर्तों के अनुसार सभी निर्यातकों को 3,00,000 रुपये तक नमूनों के शुल्क मुक्त आयात की अनुमति होगी ।
सीमा- शुल्क अधिसूचना की शर्तों के अनुसार सभी निर्यातकों को 1,00,000 रुपये ( रत्न और आभूषण क्षेत्र के लिए 3,00,000 रुपये ) तक नमूनों के शुल्क मुक्त आयात की अनुमति होगी ।
सार्वजनिक सूचना का प्रभाव
(I) सभी निर्यातक 3,00,000 रुपये तक नमूनों का शुल्क मुक्त आयात कर सकेंगे । पहले सिर्फ रत्न और आभूषण क्षेत्र को ही इस लाभ की अनुमति थी , अन्य के लिए 1,00,000 रुपये की सीमा थी ।
(II) यह प्रक्रिया पुस्तक को सीमा शुल्क की दिनांक27-2-2010 की अधिसूचना के साथ सुमेलित करता है ।

Subject : Amendment in Paragraph 2.27 of Handbook of Procedures , Vol . - I , 2009-2014 ( RE 2010 ) regarding import ofsamples.
F. No. 01 /93/ 180/30/AM 11 /PC- 2(B) .-In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14 , the following amendment is being made in Para 2.27 of Handbook of Procedures , Vol . I , 2009-2014 (RE 2010) in view of Customs Notification No. 16, dated 27-02-2010:

Second sub -para of Para 2.27of HBP Vol. 1 2009-14
Duty free import of samples up to Rs.1,00,000 for all exporters (Rs . 3,00,000 for gems and jewellery sector) shall be allowed as per terms and conditions of Customs Notification.

Effect ofPublic Notice
(1) All the exporters will be able to import duty free samples up to Rs . 3,00,000 . Earlier only gems and jewellery sector was allowed this benefit, for the rest the limit was Rs . 1,00,000 .
(11) This harmonises the HBP with Customs notification of 27-2-2010.
