(ज ) विकृतिजन्य सामग्री और पक्षियों से जैविकीय उत्पाद;
(झ) पशु खाद्य उपयोग के लिए या कृषि या औद्योगिक उपयोग के लिए आयातित पशु मूल (पक्षियों से ) का उत्पाद;
का.आ. 2976(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार , पशुधन आयात अधिनियम, 1898 ( 1898 का 9 ) की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) और धारा 3 क द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और कृषि मंत्रालय , भारत सरकार ( पशुपालन , डेयरी और मत्स्यपालन विभाग ) के दिनांक 18 मार्च, 2010 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 616 ( अ ) को अधिक्रान्त करते हुए इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से निम्नलिखित का प्रतिषेध करती है :
(ञ) कुक्कुट के वीर्य सहित घरेलू और जंगली पक्षियों का वीर्य ।
2. मद ( 1 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट निषिद्धता इनके आयातों पर लागू नहींहोगी-
1. ( i ) अधिसूचित योग्य एवियन इंफ्लूएंजा (उच्च रोगजनक एवियन इंफ्लूएंजा और निम्न रोगजनक अधिसूचित योग्य एवियन इंफ्लूएंजा ) को ध्यान में रखते हुए सभी देशों से भारत में पिंजरे में पाले और प्रजनित पक्षियों के अलावा वन्य पक्षी;
(क) आशयित एवियन प्रजातियों से बने मीट व मीट उत्पादों के घटकों वाले प्रसंस्कृत पालतु पशु खाद्य।
(ख ) रोग निदान और अनुसंधान प्रयोजनों के लिए. पैथोलोजिकल सामग्रियों और जैवकीय उत्पादों के आयात ।
( ii ) अधिसूचित योग्य एवियन इंफ्लूएंजा ( उच्च रोगजनक अधिसूचित योग्य एवियन इंफ्लूएंजा और निम्न रोगजनक अधिसूचित योग्य एवियन इंफ्लूएंजा दोनों ) रिपोर्ट करने वाले देशों से भारत में निम्नलिखित पुशधन और पशुधन उत्पादों के आयात; अर्थात्:-
3. केन्द्र सरकार निर्यातक देश के संतोषजनक अनुरूपता आंकलन के अधीन प्रसंस्कृत कुक्कुट के आयात की अनुमति दे सकता है ।
( क) घरेलू और वन्य पक्षी ( कुक्कुट सहित ) ;
( ख) एक दिन के चूजे, बत्तख , टर्की और अन्य नवजात चूजे एवियन प्रजातियां;
4. यह प्रतिषेध उक्त अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तारीख से छह मास की अवधि तक या इसके उपांतरित या प्रत्याहृत किए जाने तक, जो पूर्वतर हो , प्रवृत्त रहेगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 16th December , 2010
S.O. 2976(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 and Section 3A of the Livestock Importation Act, 1898 (9 of 1898 ) , and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries ) number S.O. 616 (E), dated 18th March, 2010, the Central Government hereby prohibits, with effect from the date of publication ofthis notification in the Official Gazette,
(1) (i ) The import into India from all the countries , in view of Notifiable Avian Influenza (both Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza and Low Pathogenic Notifiable Avian Influenza) ofwild birds except those reared and bred in captivity;
(ii) the import into India from the countries reporting Notifiable Avian Influenza (both Highly Pathogenic Notifiable Avian Influenza and Low Pathogenic Notifiable Avian Influenza) , the following livestock and livestock products , namely : --
(a) domestic and wild birds ( including poultry);
(b) day- old chicks , ducks , turkeys and other newly hatched Avian species ;
(c) un-processed meat and meat products from Avian species , including wild birds ;
(d) hatching eggs ;
(e) eggs and egg products (except Specific Pathogen Free eggs ) ;
(f) un-processed feathers ;
(g) live pigs;
(h) pathological material and biological products from birds ;
(i) products of animal origin ( from birds) intended for use in animal feeding or for agricultural or industrial use;
(j ) semen of domestic and wild birds including poultry.
(2) The prohibition specified in paragraph ( 1 ) shall not be applicable to the import of,-
(i) processed pet food containing ingredients of meat and meat products from avian species animal origin .
(ii) the import of pathological materials and biological products for diagnostic and research purposes .
(3) The Central Government may allow the import of processed poultry subject to the satisfactory conformity assessment of the exporting country .
(4) The prohibition shall be in force for a period of six months from the date of publication of this notification or till the said notification is modified or withdrawn , whichever isearlier.
