का.आ. 3042(अ) -यतः , केन्द्र सरकार विशेष आर्थिक जोन नियमावली , 2006 के नियम 8 के साथ पठित अधिनियम की धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , विभिन्न विशेष आर्थिक जोनों के क्षेत्रों को अधिसूचित करती रही थी , जिसके साथ विशेष आर्थिक जोनों के संदर्भ में अनुमोदन समिति का गठन एवं अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो के दर्जे को भी अधिसूचित किया जा रहा है;
और यतः, वर्ष 2006 , 2007 एवं 2008 में केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा कुछ विशेष आर्थिक जोनों के क्षेत्रों को अधिसूचित किया गया था , परन्तु उनके साथ विशेष आर्थिक जोनों की अनुमोदन समिति का गठन एवं अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो के दर्जे को अधिसूचित नहीं किया गया था;
और अब, यतः , विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम , 2005 (2005 का 28 ) की धारा 13 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 14 के प्रयोजनार्थ ऐसे परवर्ती वर्ग के विशेष आर्थिक जोनों के लिए एक समिति, जिसे अनुमोदन समिति कहा जाएगा , गठित करती है , जिसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य निम्नानुसार हैं , अर्थात्ः-
1. विशेष आर्थिक जोन का विकास आयुक्त -अध्यक्ष , पदेन
2. निदेशक अथवा उप-सचिव , भारत सरकार , सदस्य , पदेन
वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय , वाणिज्य विभाग या उसका नामिती जिसका स्तर अवर सचिव, भारत सरकार से कम नहीं होगा

-सदस्य, पदेन 3. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाला क्षेत्रीय संयुक्त विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशक
--सदस्य , पदेन 4. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाले सीमा- शुल्क आयुक्त या केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क आयुक्त अथवा उनका नामिती जिसका स्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा
---सदस्य, पदेन 5. विशेष आर्थिक जोन पर भू- भागीय क्षेत्राधिकार रखने वाले आयकर आयुक्त अथवा उसका नामिती जिसका स्तर संयुक्त आयुक्त से कम नहीं होगा
-सदस्य, पदेन 6. निदेशक ( बैंकिंग ) , वित्त मंत्रालय, बैंकिंग प्रभाग , भारत सरकार
-सदस्य, पदेन 7. राज्य सरकार द्वारा नामित किए जाने वाले दो अधिकारी जिनका स्तर संयुक्त सचिव से कम नहीं होगा

और अब , यतः , विशेष आंर्थिक जोन अधिनियम , 2005 (2005 का 28 ) की धारा 53 की उप - धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा विशेष आर्थिक जोन की मुख्य अधिसूचना की दिनांक को उस तारीख के रूप में निर्धारित करती है जिस तारीख से ऐसे विशेष आर्थिक जोनों को सीमा- शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52 ) की धारा 7 के अंतर्गत अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो माना जाएगा ।

3. Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone

4. Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner
S.O. 3042( E) .--Whereas , the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8. of the Special Economic Zone Rules , 2006, had been notifying areas of various Special Economic Zones . Simultaneously, constitution of the Approval Committee and status of Inland Container Depot are also being notified in respect ofSpecial Economic Zones;

5. Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner
-Member, ex officio Andwhereas , during the years 2006, 2007 and 2008, some of the notifications had been issued by the Central Government notifying the areas of Special Economic Zones without simultaneously notifying the constitution of the Approval Committee and deemed status of Inland Container Depot for the Special Economic Zones ;

Special Invitec And now, therefore, in respect of Special Economic of such latter category, the Central Government , in exercise ofthe powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of2005) , hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval Committee for such Special Economic Zone for the purposes of Section 14 of the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members , namely :--

And now, therefore , the Central Government , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2 ) of Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act , 2005 (28 of 2005 ) , hereby appoints the date of the main notification of the Special Economic Zone as the date from which such Special Economic Zones shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the CustomsAct , 1962 (52 of 1962) .
