सं. एल-1/18/2010-के.वि.वि.आ. केन्द्रीय विद्युत विनियामक आयोग ( भारतीय विद्युत ग्रिड संहिता) विनियम , 2010 को तारीख 28-4-2010 को भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण ( भाग III , खण्ड 4 , सं. 115 ) में अधिसूचित किया गया था तथा उक्त विनियम , सिवाय उन उपबंधों के जहां पृथक् तारीखें विनिर्दिष्ट की जानी थी , 3-5-2011 से प्रवृत्त हैं ।
यह विनिर्दिष्ट किया गया था कि उक्त विनियमों के उपाबंध -1 के खण्ड ( 5 ) तथा खण्ड ( 7 ) 1-1-2011 से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
उक्त विनियमों को1-1-2011 से प्रवृत्त करने में कुछ कठिनाईयाँ उद्भूत हो गई हैं क्योंकि उक्त विनियमों के अधीन अपेक्षित कतिपय प्रक्रियाओं तथा तंत्रों को अभी तक अंतिम रूप नहीं दिया गया है तथा वे तदुपरांत प्रवृत्त किए जाएंगे ।
आयोग ने, केन्द्रीय विद्युत विनियामक आयोग ( भारतीय विद्युत ग्रिड संहिता ) विनियम , 2010 के भाग 7 के खण्ड ( 1 ) के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह विनिश्चय किया है कि उपाबंध-1 के खण्ड ( 5 ) तथा ( 7 ) को प्रवृत्त करने वाली तारीख 1-1-2011 के बजाय 1-1-2012 होगी ।
अतः , अब , सभी संबंधितों को सूचित करने के लिए यह अधिसूचित किया जाता है कि केन्द्रीय विद्युत विनियामक आयोग ( भारतीय विद्युत ग्रिड संहिता ) विनियम , 2010 , के उपाबंध-1 के खण्ड ( 5 ) तथा ( 7 ) 1-1-2012 से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

No. L - 1 / 18 /2010 - CERC .- Whereas Central Electricity Regulatory Commission ( Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations , 2010 was notified on 28-4-2010 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary (Part III , Section IV No. 115) and the said regulations came into force with effect from 3-5-2010 except the provisions where separate dates were specified.
Whereas , it was specified that Clauses ( 5) and (7 ) of Annexure- I of the said regulations were to come into force w.e.f. 1-1-2011 ;
Whereas , difficulties have arisen to give effect to the said regulations with effect from 1-1-2011 since certain procedures and mechanisms required under the said regulations have not yet been finalized and put in place .
Whereas, the Commission in exercise of the powers under clause ( 1 ) of Part 7 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission ( Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations , 2010 has decided that the date of coming into force ofClauses (5 ) and (7) ofAnnexure - I shall be 1-1-2012 inplace of 1-1-2011 .
And now, therefore , it is notified for the information ofall concerned that Clauses (5) and ( 7) ofAnnexure - I of Central Electricity Regulatory Commission ( Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations , 2010 shall come into force with effect from 1-1-2012 .
