का.आ. 148( अ). कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा अधिनियम , 1948 ( 1948 का 34 ) की धारा 1 की उप - धारा ( 5 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केंद्रीय सरकार निगम के साथ विचार- विमर्श करके उक्त अधिनियम के प्रावधानों का विस्तार इसके साथ संलग्न अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट स्थापन वर्गों को करने के आशय की , भारत के राजपत्र की प्रतियां जिसमें यह अधिसूचना प्रकाशित की गई है , जनता को उपलब्ध कराने की तारीख से एक महीने की समाप्ति के बाद एतद्वारा सूचना देती है ।
उक्त अधिसूचना के संबंध में ऊपर विनिर्दिष्ट अवधि के भीतर किसी व्यक्ति से आपत्ति अथवा सुझाव प्राप्त होने पर केंद्रीय सरकार उन पर विचार करेगी ।
आपत्तियाँ तथा सुझाव श्री एस.डी. जेवियर , अवर सचिव , श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय , श्रम शक्ति भवन , रफी मार्ग , नई दिल्ली-110001 को भेजे जाएं ।

राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र , दिल्ली के सभी क्षेत्र जहाँ कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा अधिनियम , 1948 के उपबंध लागू हैं ।

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi , the 29th November , 2010
S.O. 148 (E ). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 5) of Section 1 of the Employees ' State Insurance Act, 1948 ( 34 of 1948 ) , the Central Government , in consultation with the Corporation , hereby gives notice of its intention to extend the provisions of the said Act to the classes of establishments specified in the schedule annexed hereto, after the expiry of a period of one month from the date on which the copies of the Gazette in which this notification is published, are made available to the public;
Any objection or suggestion , which may be received from any person in respect of the said notification within the period specified above , willbe considered by the . Central Government ; The objections and suggestions may be addressed to Shri S.D. Xavier, Under Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Shram Shakti Bhawan , Rafi Marg , New Delhi - 110001.

Areas in which the establishments are situated Description of establishments

All areas in the National Capital Territory ofDelhi where provisions of the Employees ' State Insurance Act , 1948, is in force .
The following establishments wherein ten or more persons are employed , or were employed on any day of the preceding twelve months , namely :---
(i) shops;
(ii) hotels;
(iii) restaurants ;
(iv) road motor transport establishments ;
(v) cinemas including preview theatres ;
(vi ) newspaper establishments as defined in section 2(d) of the Working Journalists ( Conditions of Service) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1955 (45 of1955).
(vii ) educational institutions ( including public , private , aided or partially aided ) run by an individual , trust, society or other organisation;
(viii) medical institutions ( including corporate , joint sector, trust, charitable and private ownership hospitals , nursing homes , diagnostic centres , pathological labs) .
