The Central govt. declared its intention to acquire the right of User in the land in Tehsil saraipali, District-Mahasamund, in Chhattisgarh, state specified in the schedule appended to that notification for the purpose of laying pipeline for the transportation of Petroleum products from Paradip to Raipur and Ranchi by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
